Should i apply in jac ? My obc ncl rank is 32 k and acc to prev year cut-off i am getting civil chemical in dtu

Hey finally got free time after exams Travelling in a train so thought of helping through an AMA since you candidates have lots of questions

I have lots of friends in NSUT and IGDTUW and I’ve also gone to those colleges for hacthon or for masti so u can ask about those colleges too

Some common queries read this before commenting maybe u’ll get the answer to ur question

1. I got this rank, will I get this branch/college?

   Ans - Go and check on College Pravesh.

2. Is my category certificate valid?

   Ans - Go on the JAC Delhi website. There you’ll find the format of reserved category certificate iff your certificate is the same as that then yes u are good to go.

3. My caste name is not in the Delhi list, but I am from a reserved category nd have done Schooling from Delhi Will I get category quota?

   Ans - No. Your caste should be in the Delhi category list.

4. Which college is best for coding, campus, and attendance?

   Ans:

   For coding: NSUT > DTU, IGDTUW is okayish.

   For campus: DTU and NSUT are equal, IGDTUW campus sucks.

   For attendance: DTU and IGDTUW are better than NSUT.

5. Will I get a hostel?

   If you are a girl candidate, then in DTU/NSUT you will easily get a hostel if your distance is more than 30 km, sometimes even above 20 km. As for IGDTUW NO.

   If you are a boy and have taken admission using HS quota, then you can forget about the hostel better to take a PG.

Now if you have any questions aside from these U can comment u can ask anything from fest to professors to toxicity placements etc

so i applied through my old 2025 OBC and even got selected for 1st round now councelling is in 5 days and i am worried -will they ask for a renewed obc-ncl and theres no way i can get that in 5 days so will they reject my admission??? bdes btw. please help

Got ~94% in boards, 97.2%tile in jee mains, Female with delhi homestate and have national medals+international medals in running.

I'm an SC. Have 94.03%ile and so which should I go for?

dtu and nsut are like almost same distance from my home tho iiit delhi is 23'sh km.

Sorry ik all seniors are frustrated with all these doubts but please help me out a lil with this ... I have options of these and if there is something else available at my rank please drop suggestions

2. IPU ME Maharaja Agrasen(MAIT) me CSE /USICT ME LOW CHANCES

3.THAPAR ME CS ALLIED BRANCHES( outside Punjab ).So will It be worthy looking at the job market to invest 30L for Btech?

4. MIT ME MAIN ME ECE FROM MET1 KA SCORE AND IF MET 2 ME IMPROVE HUA TO SHYD CSE TK HOPAE

5. BITS ME ALMOST 200 IN S1 ..BUT AB LAG NAI RAHA BADHENGE MARKS SO IF 230 235 HOTA H TO LAST YEAR KE ACCN MAYBE SOME DUAL DEGREE! BUT iski advice mt dena abhi cuz ye improve hoga to obv best option h wo IK.

6. VIT ME 13K RANK BUT ISKO CHORO YE NAI CONSIDER KRRA!

7.General Cateogry ; jee mains -99k rank ; HS.- Delhi !

FAMILY INCOME- 15 LPA so It will not be that big of an issue to pay the fees like a lil constraint will be there but ok!

Placement wagera kaisa h? Hectic hai kya? Aur kya saari companies ke liye baith sakte hain? Help pwease🙏
