Hi all
Looking for kids calling watch around 7 to 8k
Online reviews are not useful.
Explored Sekyo carepal and Noise Junior but not sure about both of them.
Any parents actually using these watches please advise
AC quality is degraded in 2026 models with serious cost cutting in 2026 models across all brands.
I am sharing some 2026 teo best selling AC models with their pros and cons below.
Daikin
They reduced cooling in 2026 models. Like previously in their 1.5ton 5 star MIKM50UV (2025) model cooling was 5280W ( 1.5 ton). But in MTKM50XV16
(2026) model they reduced collection 5000W 1.42 ton). But their 3 star model as it's like 2025. Other changes are they did some cosmetic changes like remote and indoor cover. 2026 model is expensive than 2025 mode ls without any noticeable or useful changes. So, if ISEER values doesn't bother you buying 2025 (now 4 star) model make sense.
Panasonic
They have updated their odu ( with rugged weather protection coating) but didn't changed shitty small remote. But good thing you can operate trough alexa and app. There is no changes in cooling CS/CU-NU18BKY5WX 5100W (1.45 ton)2026 model. 3 star model is aslo same. One thing Panasonic discontinued their 2025 model. So, that people buy 2026 model.
If you have any questions you can ask
I was checking out the best phones to buy in the 15-25k range and the one plus nord ce5 seemed the best for me
It does have security patches till 2031 and goes to android 18 afaik, which is rly good.the reviews are also good ,no one complained abt green line or display issues for which this has a lifetime warranty.
My only concerns are 3 things:
•Is it good for the price?it launched at a very low price as compared to 25k
•only available variant is the 128gb storage,I have a 128 gb phone rn ,of which I have used 50gb excluding the OS,but due to the updates till 2031 Im concerned abt how much the is will take up at that time,The sd card might fix this tho
•Is buying from insta mart safe? Considering the seller is Spwave pvt ltd?
Hi Guys,
Need some genuine advice from AC experts here. Trying to decide between these two 1.5 Ton inverter ACs:
My room size is around 180 sq. ft., and the AC usage will mostly be around 4–5 hours per day max.
My priorities are: • Strong and fast cooling
• Good long-term reliability • Wi-Fi + app control • Geofencing / smart automation features • Future-proof smart connectivity and compatibility with modern internet/smart home technologies • Good humidity control during monsoons • Stable performance over the years
I’m only considering these two specific models, so not looking for suggestions outside these unless absolutely necessary.
For a 180 sq. ft. room with moderate usage, which one would you personally recommend between the two and why?
Would really appreciate feedback from actual owners regarding:
• Cooling performance • Noise levels • App experience and Wi-Fi reliability • Service support • Long-term durability
Thanks in advance!
So here’s the 2026 guide.
But first, one important thing: a new ISEER star rating system has been implemented in 2026. Because of this, brands will launch new AC models with updated ISEER star ratings.
Keep in mind that many 2025 models are now rated around 4 stars under the new system.
At the same time, new 2026 AC models will likely be more expensive. So if you don’t care about the latest features, you can simply go with last year’s models. You’ll get the same cooling performance and save some money. But all brands discontinued their 2025 models, so that people buy 2026 models 🥲
You can either wait for the 2026 models or buy a 2025 model with the older rating- the choice is completely yours.
>For now, here’s the 2026 AC buying guide based on the older BEE star ratings.
I wouldn't recommend Window AC and Portable AC (waste of money) in 2026.
Things to check before buying Ac
5 years PCB warranty
1 year comprehensive warranty on whole product.
10 years compressor warranty and Copper coil, and coating on it.
Refrigerant should be R32 gas.
If any company is not giving above 4 things, don’t buy.
>For surge protection, buy a stabiliser according to your voltage fluctuation range in your area. It will protect your AC PCB
Now People will suggest buying a 3 star AC
But trust me, go with 5 star model of the same 3 Star model you choose. I will save you money in long run. But if your budget is tight or AC use is less than 8-9hrs. than obviously buy 3 star.
No brands provide for 4 way( vertical and horizontal) swing in their 3 star models model except Daikin
Convertable mode will work for 30 minutes, after that Ac will run in Auto mode.
Installation:
If the technician said not required then tell him to come with a Vacuum machine otherwise bhaga dena.
>Installation is the most crucial part in AC installation no matter which brand AC You bought . If it was not done properly, AC would not cool your room.
AC Brands
1. Mitsubishi and General
Both are the OGs in market. Those are premium segment AC and heavy duty AC. Like Mitsubishi AC costs 90K only for indoor outdoor units. You have to purchase copper pipe separately + installation charges. Total cost 95-100k. And it's after sales service available in few metro cities. Still they are king, if you have budget and after sales service available in your area then go for it, no regret.
2. Daikin
\\- Pros: excellent cooling, electric consumption is less, auto clean (Dew clean) , big outdoor unit with 100% copper
\\- Cons: Old design, Lack of Smart features.
\\- And Daikin inverter ac has Convertible mode, don't believe in others misinformation
➡️ I am using Daikin 1.5ton 3 star and 1.8ton 5 star in 2024 and recently bought 1.5 ton 3 star same model (2025) again.I am really happy with it. If you have a high budget go with O Genaral or Mitsubishi , otherwise only Daikin, again I am saying Daikin only.
3. LG
\\- It makes Silent Ac. But it's actual tonnage is less. Like they are selling a 1.24ton (2024) Ac as 1.5ton. Just check actual cooling tonnage before buying. 2025 models are good, I have mentioned some models in pin comment. Excellent service, own technician. Even available in tier 3 cities and villages.
4. Hitachi
\\- Pros: Excellent cooling machine specially 2 ton segment , auto clean
\\- Cons: Consumes a little more electricity, temperature Display not available, Convertible mode unavailable technically auto Convertible so no issues.
➡️ Now only Hitachi is giving 5 years of Comprehensive Warranty (Other bands only 1 year). PCB is a vital thing in the Inverter AC.
5. Carrier
Sufficient cooling, auto clean, Convertible mode available. Overall good. Carrier is the company who invented AC.
6. Panasonic
\\- AC is excellent but Panasonic remote sucks (small), it will not respond or stop working after sometimes. Wi-Fi Smart feature available. You can control AC from your phone.
\\- Cons: indoor-outdoor is very noisy.
▶️ Don't buy Lloyd, Samsung, Voltas, Godrej, Haier, IFB, Bluestar(except some models), Whirlpool. Every Brand could not be specialized in every machine.
➡️ Smart Wi-Fi is very useful (Alexa voice commands will be easy for elders to control Ac). AI features are marketing gimmick, don't fall on those trap.
Now come to AC Tonnage according to Room size
\\- 1 ton --- 100–150 sq ft
\\- 1.5 ton --- 131–190 sq ft
\\- 2 ton --- 191–250 sq ft
\\- 2.5–3 --- 400–600 sq ft (on you can install two 2 ton Ac or centralized Ac).
If your room is on top floor and sun expose all day. For inverter AC at extra 0.5 ton extra. Means if same size room in ground floor required one ton for sun exposed top floor room it will require 1.5 ton.
➡️ Bonus tip: suppose your room size is 170 sqft. top floor, directly sunlight exposed. Generally you think a 1.5 ton AC will be more than enough. No you need a 1.8-2 ton act. You can use Ac 2 ton Ac as 1.5ton ( some models have 7 Convertible modes, but convertible mode will work for 30 minutes, after that it will continue auto mode) but you can't use a 1 ton Ac 110% efficiency. It may affect your compressor on long run. So it's better to buy higher Tonnage AC for some conditions.
Don't run behind Brands, check ISEER value, Actual Tonnage and Maximum Cooling capacity and compare with your room size.
Salesman may suggest you ac but keep in mind they will suggest only that brand or model which gives them maximum margin.
It's recommended to use a good Stabilizer it will cost 2k only, It will save your PCB
I mentioned some models in pin comment. I will update best models in future.
Planning to purchase a TV for our house.
Was always of the notion that Sony Bravia is the best (been using a 55" one, 8yrs old)
Sales guy is pushing the LG qned one and it feels like they have tweaked the settings to make it look better than Sony.
Clarity needed if LG has actually overcome Sony in this
Just bought a 2 ton haier ac and this is how they (haier's authorised technicians) left the ac after installation.
An electronic appliance without a damn plug.
It was a free installation, but does that mean it'll be low quality?
My budget is 40k
My main usage is for 5g and maybe AI usage in future. Currently iQOO is providing the charger too.

My laptop charger recently stopped working, so I need to buy a new one.
I’m confused about whether I should buy the original charger from ASUS again or switch to a GaN charger instead.
ASUS Vivobook S14 OLED, and it uses a 90W USB C charger.
Would a GaN charger be a good option? If yes, what specifications or brands should I look for?
I recently built a G+2 villa in Bangalore, India, and I’m trying to figure out the best Wi-Fi setup for full coverage across the entire house.
Each floor is around 30ft x 50ft (~1500 sqft).
Layout:
I’ve installed smart switches throughout the house, along with the usual Wi-Fi devices like TVs, phones, PCs, etc. So there will be a decent number of always-connected devices.
I’m looking for recommendations on a mesh Wi-Fi system (or any better alternative) that can ensure strong and stable coverage in every corner of the villa across all floors.
A few questions:
Thanks in advance!
Need suggestions for a reliable camera/video phone (512GB compulsory)
Recently lost my S24 Ultra so now looking for a replacement. Trying to avoid Ultra-level pricing again if there’s a solid option that makes more sense value-wise.
My priorities are:
- Great camera
- Great video quality (video slightly more important than photos)
- 512GB storage (non-negotiable)
- Reliable long term performance
- Good software experience over years
Usage is pretty normal overall. No gaming or heavy stuff. Just need something that stays smooth and reliable for years without slowing down or getting messy after updates.
Currently considering:
- S25
- iPhone 16
- Vivo X300 series
- Oppo Find X9 series
I’ve seen a lot of praise for Vivo X series cameras lately, but I’m still unsure about:
- real-world video consistency
- low light performance stability
- long term software reliability
Same doubts with Oppo as well, especially the slightly processed / “too polished” look some flagships tend to have.
Not really an iPhone fan, but open to it if it genuinely ends up being the most reliable option for video + long term smoothness.
My ideal pick would’ve been the S25+ but I couldn’t find a 512GB variant.
Looking mainly for something that gives the best overall value without compromising too much on camera/video quality or long term reliability. Open to suggestions beyond this list too.
If nothing really makes sense, I’ll probably just end up stretching and going for the S25 Ultra again.
I am confused between these 2 phones. I am not a power user/gamer. But need a decent all-rounder phone. Currently both of them are priced around 40k.
Cons with pixel: Only gorilla glass 3, Network reception issues, heating
Cons with Nothing 3: Very less sold, very heavy and bulky.
Which one should I consider. Any other nuances like service experience, long term usage perspective, etc?
It feels so nice in hand. I am loving the compactness and camera
2025/2026 release please, also no oppo or vivo
Thank you!
Hi everyone,
I’m planning to buy a phone for my mom in the ₹10k–15k range. Initially I found the Motorola G45 to be almost perfect for the price since it offers:
But unfortunately it seems to be out of stock everywhere Amazon, Flipkart, and even the Motorola website. I also checked offline stores like Poorvika and Sangeetha, but no luck there either.
Can you guys suggest the best phone under ₹15k for parents/general daily usage?
Hey everyone, I recently got a Pixel 9a and I have a DailyObjects MagSafe case for it, so I'm looking for a magnetic wireless powerbank to use in college and while travelling.
My requirements:
Magnetic wireless charging (MagSafe/Qi2 compatible), under ₹1500 ideally with room to stretch to ₹1800-2000 for something genuinely good, 10000mAh so it's flight approved, and decent build quality and safety.
What I've already checked and why I skipped them:
Ambrane MagSafe — 268 out of 296 heat mentions were negative, one reviewer called it a safety concern. Hard no.
boAt EnergyShroom PB331 — 66 out of 84 heat mentions negative.
URBN StandPro — 15 out of 18 heat mentions negative, took 2 hours to reach 40% charge wirelessly.
Lifelong — only 52 reviews, not enough data to trust.
Stuffcool Click — looks the most promising but ₹1999 is a stretch.
I get that wireless charging generates heat by nature but the ratio of negative heat reviews across all of these is just too high. Is this the reality of budget wireless powerbanks in India or am I missing something genuinely good?
Open to increasing budget slightly if there's actually something worth it. Also open to Qi2 options since the Pixel 9a supports it natively.
Thanks!
loving my new neo so far! 🥰
what are yall opinions on it ?
and also please drop suggestions for some good sleeves for it that are exactly 13 inch!! i recently got one but it was 13-13.3 inches and kinda inconvenient.
