Many counsellors r taking large sums of money but guaranting that i will pass through the councelling of dtu..

Just finished my first year fucked up my cg in first sem 6.9 but slight recovery I ll push it around 7.5 after first yr apart from this.the takeover of ai and saturation of cse the job market is gonna be so doomed in 2029 every second person nm wht branch is doing ml . So many layoffs developer roles getting replaced by ai no job for ml freshers why did I ever choose btech ahhh

I got back in nas. Accumulated marks is 21. Prof is AKS.

What should I do now? Ghar pe nhi bata sakta yaar. Phati padi hai.

Agar me 1st sem ki back 3rd me clear krunga toh 1st sem ki cg update hogi ya nahi

Koi pls btado 3rd year mei jaa sakte hain kya ????

And summer mei bhi nahi hui toh

Pls koi senior ne jhela ho ye sab toh bta do

I've recently seen a few posts made by first year students about where to stay in their second year. As someone who has lived in APJ, ABH and a non-AC hostel, I think I might be qualified to answer your hostel doubts.

Every hostel has its pros and cons. I'll go over them briefly.

APJ pros-

1. It's the most comfortable hostel. Period. There's AC in the summers and temperature control in the winters.

2. Every room is inbuilt with mattresses, curtains, comfortable rotating chairs, godrej almirahs and desks

3. Washrooms are significantly cleaner than the corresponding in the non-ac older hostels

4. Host of facilities like washing machines, pool table. Any new hostel facility comes to APJ before other hostel.

Cons-

1. Rooms are extremely small. Not sufficient for 3 people in my opinion, would be perfect for 2. You'll feel cramped coming from ABH/Type 2.

2. Absence of Mess inside the hostel. You need to walk to VVS or HJB for your food, which sometimes leads to you missing breakfast.

3. Many have a misconception that there are more "nashedis" in APJ, but that's actually not true. The reason is simple, it's a centrally AC hostel. So when people smoke inside, it's sucked in by AC vents, making rooms smell like cigarette/weed smoke.

4. Absence of balcony in the rooms

5. Expensive (obviously)

NON AC HOSTELS

pros-

1. Mess inside hostels. This is the greatest pro. You can finish brushing at 9:25 and still get breakfast. Also helps on rainy days. (Only exception is JCB, their mess is closed)

2. Decent space in double rooms, double rooms are larger than apj triple rooms.

3. Better hostel culture. More bakchodi.

4. Cheaper

Cons-

1. You suffer in April-May and January

2. Tables, chairs are a lottery. Never as good as APJ ones, yes, but it can be anywhere between unusable (jagged, will cut your hand if you hit it's edge) to decent.

3. Almirahs are just an extension of the wall, cut into stacks. Prone to dirt and dust.

4. You need to bring your own mattress, own curtains. Very minimal facilities are provided by the hostel-only the aforementioned table, chair, almirah and the cot (a cast iron cot compared to the godrej interio plywood cot in APJ

Once registered , talk to your cr or your previous course prof and ask them to get you in contact with the new prof in charge.

Mere time me joh the sir unhone google classroom link banaya tha and online class li thi thodi kyunki under 15 bache jab hote hai tab classes nhi hoti labs nhi hoti. Seedha midsem and endsem hota hai viva bhi endsem ke din hi hojayega internal ke liye.

Agar 15 se zada bache hai to classes hoti hai 2 days a week and unme se ek din lab bhi hoga ya 3rd day bhi ho sakta hai, usually same din pe badme lab hoga.

Sitting plan normal site pe hi ata hai. Result alag se ata hai iska and joh cgpa wali sheet hoti hai wo bhi alag ati hai summer sem ki

Hello seniors,Yeh summer sem ka registration ke liye college me present hona toh jaruri nhi hota na, m outside delhi candidate hoon or mujhe abhi Ghar Jana h toh soch rha hoon registration ke baad aa jaunga . Toh kya possible h yeh

when does the fee concession comes out?

I m in second yr cse … a month ago we were given sem 1 and 2 marksheets but i forgot to collect it that time… now they refused to give it
How to get it bcz we have on campus intern season coming up so maybe it could be required

Hostel registration for 2nd year students and onwards has started?
Asking because dont wanna miss it also if a senior and give an idea around which time it started last year

So I'm joining dtu with cse this year as an sc candidate. I got 94%ile in April. My family income is <2.5 lpa so I'm eligible to get the freeship card and the post maric scholarship.

But I'm seeing that the freeship card is issued after the physical reporting and the time in which you have to pay the 1.5 lakh fees after the 95k acceptance fees.

Would I have to pay it anyway and wait for the nsp scholarship for refund or something can happen beforehand?

wanna ask how difficult it is to get off campus placement through linked in or internship in mechanical engineering:’).

Recently came to know that Morgan Stanley offers 3.5 LPM stipend and 42 L base at old IITs for their Strats role while offering 1.25 LPM stipend and 21 ish base at BITS (all 3 campuses) for the same role through PS2. Are their other companies that do the same ?
