Hi everyone, I’m applying for the PM YASASVI scholarship and I’m confused about which caste certificate to upload.

I have:

A Central Government caste certificate

A UP Government caste certificate

A Delhi Government caste certificate

I studied Class 12 in Delhi, but my permanent/home state is UP.

Which one should I upload for the scholarship? Does it depend on my state/domicile or the certificate format?

If anyone has applied in a similar situation, please help. Thanks!

Does anyone know if there’s any program or celebration happening today for Janmashtami? 👀

Can someone please guide me about private scholarships available for B.Tech students?

I’m currently studying at DTU, belong to the OBC category, and my family income is around ₹1 lakh per year.

I want to know:

- Which private scholarships are currently available?

- Which ones should I apply for?

- Which scholarships have an aptitude test/interview?

- How much scholarship amount is provided?

- What are the eligibility criteria?

- With my category and family income, what are my chances of getting selected?

If anyone has applied for or received a private scholarship, please share your experience or guide me. It would really help. 🙏

Need some information regarding DTU fee concession 🙏

Can anyone tell me how the fee concession at DTU works and what the eligibility criteria are?

My family income is around ₹1 lakh per year, and I belong to the OBC category. I’m currently living in a PG, so I also wanted to know if they ask questions during the verification/interview about how I’m managing my PG rent and other expenses.

I have also taken an education loan.

I mainly want to know:

What is the eligibility criteria?

What documents are required?

How much fee concession can one get?

Do they ask about PG rent and living expenses during the verification/interview?

Does having an education loan affect the fee concession?

Someone also told me that if your electricity bill is between ₹1,100 and ₹1,500, it becomes difficult to get the concession. Is this actually a criterion, or is it just a rumour?

If anyone has personally received the fee concession or gone through the verification process, please share your experience. It would really help. 🙏

Do core branch students get tech placements? Is it difficult to get into tech companies from a core branch? Also, how difficult is it to get tech internships? Seniors, please share your experience and advice.

During the initial round, I got Production, but in the further round, I got Civil. I had placed Civil above Production in my preference list, so currently I have Civil.

Now, during internal upgradation, I may get Production again. So I wanted to ask—which branch is better overall, Civil or Production? Which one would you recommend considering placements, career opportunities, and future scope?

I have completed my application on the PM Vidyalaxmi Portal. Can anyone tell me which documents I need to carry to the bank for the education loan process? If someone has recently applied, please share the complete list of required documents. Thank you!

I'm a first-year student and wanted to know at what hostel rank students usually get allotted a hostel at DTU.

If anyone knows the hostel cutoff or has received a hostel this year, please share:

• Your hostel rank
• Branch & year
• Category (Delhi/Outside Delhi)
• Distance from home (if relevant)

It would really help me and other students understand the chances. Thanks!
