Guys I am getting the iphone 17 with exchange for my 15 at 39500, should I upgrade or carry on with my 15? Any suggestion?

Hey guys, right now I'm getting a macbook air m5 16/512 for around 133k online after card discount. The other option is buying it from an apple store for 138k( airpods included in student offer). What's the better of the two offers. Also, should I get it right now or wait for the upcoming BBD sale. What are the chances of a price drop in the upcoming sale!!!

Has anyone gotten any apple products from USA in last 60 days and they dont plan to get apple care ?

Considering 8 + 256. My current phone is a 21k Samsung which I used for 5 years, it has now got those lines on the screen which means I need a new phone asap. If I get an iPhone, I know there is some aspirational element to it, I've never had an apple device before. Can pay some 30-35k upfront and EMI the rest

Also not sure about what more expenses to expect? Like applecare or something else to keep in mind?

I do want one but I also want to not be stupid financially

My iPhone suddenly had a blank display. There was no physical damage whatsoever to any part of the phone. I took to Apple in a matter of hours to get it checked. Upon checking by there technician, there was either a display problem or the component in the logic board that acts as a transmission between the display and the logic board was at fault. They took my device and stated that it'll be sent to Bangalore for repair. Device was submitted. They repaired the device, replaced the logic board, and asked me to pickup. When I inspected the device, there were cosmetic damages on the corners around the screen edges and the display was protruding like not sitting within the enclosure by a few millimetres on the edges.

There was no response from the technician that why has that happened in the first place when the phone was submitted at the Apple Store itself, not given to a 3rd apple authorised repair centres.

Apple's solution to this problem which shouldn't have happened in the first place is enclosure replacement. Seriously, another complete disassembly and reassembly for your poor service job?

I am seeking a satisfactory solution and another major repair when the initial one was poorly done doesn't seem satisfactory here.

It seems unfair on my end considering the device was just 4-5 months old. In fact, the repair was poorly handled.

Has anyone faced a similar situation before and what was the ideal solution provided.
