I have ran into very specific scenarios where JavaScript's design has unnecessarily complicated my project's code structure and logic. Are there any alternate implementations of JS web requests that don't work through asynchronous functions?

Wasn't there an official scene in a piece of official George of the Jungle media with footage from real car crashes that was synced to the theme song? Specifically around the part where they say "Watch out for that tree!!!".
