My manager trash-talks others, makes sexist remarks about men in leadership, then dressed me down for doing my job

Need some perspective on a weird shift at work today.
My Store Manager told me earlier she’d support me for a management training/promotion program. While doing so, she trashed other promoted managers and the company, and then made some openly sexist comments about how men lack attention to detail and there should be more women in leadership.
Later she publicly undermined me in front of another manager. I was handling front-end lead duties (prepping for an audit, keeping the desk free for overrides and problem-solving by sending the service person to ring when the scheduled cashier was overwhelmed). She called me out, questioned why I wasn’t cashiering myself, and basically ordered me to get on a register instead of supervising and supporting the team. She also made a comment about how me being at the computer “doesn’t look good” for the entry-level staff.
I tried clarifying expectations calmly, but it felt like I was being put in my place in front of others. I left at the end of my shift pretty rattled.
Separately, I reported a strong marijuana smell in the break room (another coworker confirmed it). She claimed she “couldn’t smell anything” — yet earlier she’d nitpicked me for not noticing she wasn’t wearing her name tag.
This is the same person who says she’ll back my promotion. I’m starting to see a pattern of inconsistency, pettiness, and possible retaliation (there was some drama with another coworker earlier that may have set her off).
Has anyone dealt with a supervisor like this? Is this worth documenting/escalating, or am I overthinking it? Looking for honest takes.
