Saab 9-3 Battery drain. Seeking advice.
I have a 9-3 2.0t 2006 SportCombi and recently I noticed a parasitic battery drain. My battery is ''like new'' from a year ago ish, and the battery test showed a healthy status on it so I'm sure my battery isn't the issue.
I have driven 500 km in two days 2 months ago and the day after the battery was dead (i always check for open lights, radio things etc. before exiting the car). Sometimes, the car can stay parked for 3 days and start normally, other times, the battery is completly flat dead (3V on it).
My mechanic said to remove the fuse 20 (F25) in the fuse box by the battery. Apperently, the amplifier for the stereo can get corroded and still drain power after the car is turned off. So I tried it and I'll find out in the next few days if the issue persists.
Did anyone ever got a similar issue? Is there other electronical stuff to check out / test?
Thanks for your help!
