Is This Local AI Setup Enough for Real-World Agent Workflows?

I’m planning to build a local AI workstation for running open-source models and automation workflows.

Specs:
RTX 3090 24GB
Ryzen 5 7500F
32GB DDR5 RAM
The goal is to run:
Stable Diffusion / SDXL image generation
Local LLMs (Llama, Qwen, DeepSeek)
AI agent workflows (OpenClaw-style automation)
LinkedIn + Reddit content and engagement systems

Basically building a setup that can act like a small AI-powered marketing system locally instead of relying on cloud APIs.

Do you think this setup is enough for real-world AI agent workloads, or would you change anything?
Would love honest feedback from people already working with local AI systems

Travel Tech on Upwork Feels Weird Right Now. Anyone Else Seeing This?

Been focusing mostly on the travel tech niche on Upwork for the last 30 days.

My proposals get viewed pretty often. I’m also getting interviews. So the issue does not seem to be getting attention.

But when it comes to hiring, clients just do not move forward. And the weird part is they are not hiring anyone else either. A lot of these jobs just sit there with zero hires.

So now I’m confused.

Is travel tech just not that strong on Upwork right now?

Or is going too niche actually a bad thing?

For context, I work on stuff like OTA systems, booking engines, Amadeus, Sabre, backend APIs, and full stack travel platforms.

Would like to hear from people who’ve seen this before.

For people in travel tech. How do you rate this niche and find clients?

Hey everyone

I’m curious how people are actually finding clients in the travel tech space right now.

I’m talking about stuff like Amadeus, Sabre, WebBeds, Expedia APIs and similar integrations.

How do you usually get clients for this kind of work?

Is it mostly agencies, direct outreach, Upwork, or something else?

Also if you’ve worked in this niche, how would you rate it in terms of demand, difficulty, and long term value?

And one more thing. Do you think it’s still a good niche to focus on or is it getting too crowded or too slow moving?

Would really like to hear real experiences from people actually doing this work.
