is this getting infected?

my friend pierced them for me last night, but the bar ended up being too short so this morning we changed them to hoops and have longer bars on the way for tomorrow, should i still change to the bars tomorrow? the hoops hurt real bad, i wish i just waited for the longer bars or to save money to go to a shop
