DeepSeek + Cline or Any other harness / router

Hey guys,

I recently came across the DeepSeek API and wanted to use it with my workflow. I am currently using this solely for Development purposes (Coding, Research etc), and I am a heavy user so needed something that is relatively cheap.

Currently, I use Codex and Claude Code for AI, and VS Code for Dev work.

I wanted to know how you guys have setup DeepSeek APIs, and how you are using it for development. I have also been searching and seen this extension in VS Code called Cline which offers a harness for this API, so wanted to also know if you have experience with this.

If anyone can also tell me, how is DeepSeek? Have you seen it work well for coding purposes (Say, compared to Codex or Claude Code) or have you found difficulty / low quality outputs for the same.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Best Skills and Workflows for Vibe Coders

Hi all,

I'm new to vibe coding. I have been reading a lot about it, but I find it overwhelming with the amount of information, agents.md, skills and workflows.

Is there any guide or a website/ repo where I can read and learn about these things in a structured method?

I also wanted to know if there is a skill or set of skills for different parts of the software lifecycle, including:

  1. Requirment Analysis

  2. System Design and UI/UX Design

  3. Dev (including frontend, backend etc. Can be separate for both)

  4. QA and Bug analysis

  5. Deployment

I find myself using prompts and every time, I need to instruct specific things (Keep security in mind etc), so wanted to know about these. I'm also aware there are some skills that promote efficiency, such as ponytail. So anything like that would also be helpful.

Thanks!

Need a teammate for an in person hackathon @NVIDIA Bangalore

Hey guys,

I am participating in an NVIDIA GSI Hackathon. The hackathon is in a remote setting next month (July 1st-15th). However, there is an in person mandatory training session at the NVIDIA Office in Bangalore (on 26th June) for which I am looking for a teammate.

We are a team of 4 already, but we can accomodate 1-2 more people. Please note that we need to attend this session in person on a workday, but it is a great opportunity to learn from NVIDIA leaders and network.

DM your LinkedIn for the same. Registration deadline is by day after.

Thanks!

EDIT: We have received a lot of DMs are are deciding amongst them, so I won't be able to see any more. Thank you for the enthusiasm! If you would like to connect with me on LinkedIn, please share a DM and I can keep you in mind for future opportunities.

Thanks again!
