The guy i bought my bike from gave the frame a rattle can paint job in order to 'deter thieves' - its starting to come off in patches through wear and the original paint job looks to be in good condition underneath - how can i remove the rest of the paint without damaging the topcoat, is it stupid just to use an old rag and nail polish remover?
