Looking for a book recommendation

Hi all, I recently started reading and read "days at the morisaki bookshop." Loved it, it was such an easy and sweet read. Looking for more such books with same "make me feel good" genre. Plzzzzzz.

I’m looking for guidance from senior Central Government employees here, if any.

I recently joined the Health Ministry as a group B employee and had an unpleasant situation today regarding reporting authority. I acknowledge that I exceeded my break by about 15 minutes, but the response I received was disproportionate, my senior raised her voice and spoke in a very aggressive manner.

From what I’ve observed, this seems to be a pattern. She often speaks harshly to other staff members as well, especially those from Hindi-speaking backgrounds, usually addressing them in English while raising her voice. Most colleagues tend to stay silent, but I chose to respond today, calmly and in English.

I requested her to lower her tone and communicate in a more professional and respectful way. In response, she said she would take actions against me.

I would like to understand:

  • What kind of action can she realistically take in such a situation?
  • What authority does she hold over me, especially during my probation period (ending April 2028)?

Any practical advice on how to handle this professionally would be appreciated.
