I've been trying for days to get this company to refund me for a Motherboard & CPU bundle that they freely admit they have received back well under the 14 day returns window.

It was like pulling teeth just to get them to arrange a return.

Now they are claiming that the warranty is void due to "customer induced damage".

This is the sum total of the evidence they provided for saying the motherboard is completely unusable. Note, they have confirmed the bloody thing works for them and passed their tests.

I'm not sure that warranties should apply here, as it is a 14 day return.

Equally, I'm dubious that ASUS would refuse a warranty over what appears to be minor flaking of the protective film on the rear of the motherboard.

I'm in Wales, they are in England.

Any suggestions on how I should proceed?
