Application/tattoo removal timeline question
Hi all,
I’m putting together my OTS package and after seeing the timeline of dates from some of you on this forum, I have a question about the timeline for applying. Basically, I have some decent sized hand tattoos that will probably take 8-10 months to get fully removed. Would it be advisable to go ahead and begin the online application process while I get my tattoos removed, or should I get them fully removed before I even begin the process?
Some background: I have a private pilot license and 2 BA degrees in international relations and political science. Ideally, I’d like to be rated as a CSO, a Pilot, or an ABM but I have no idea what the waiting timelines for those jobs look like.
Any tips on how I should best approach this? My actual recruiter has basically been MIA and pointing every inquiry towards just going online to start the process. (Automated canned reply).
