brutally ghosted

Ok so I (21F) recently tried dating apps and made a Hinge profile. I matched with this guy (23M) who was honestly insanely attractive, like actor/model level attractive. He was around 6’3 and drove a few hours to come take me on a date.
From his profile I expected more of a rugged blue collar vibe because he works as a journeyman, but in person he was super polished, dressed really well, drove a nice car, and was extremely charming. I was honestly a little intimidated when I first saw him.
But the date itself went really well. We had a genuine flow to conversation, laughed a lot, and nothing felt awkward. Before meeting our messages had been kind of flirty with some banter and joking about making out, but in person he was actually very proper and gentlemanly.
He gave me his jacket because I was cold and at one point mentioned a possible second date. Toward the end of the night I joked asking if I could keep the jacket until next time and he said no and made a comment like “I don’t know when I’m going to see you again.” Then before leaving he checked to make sure I was sober enough to drive and leaned in and kissed me.
He texted me when he got home, but when I reached out a couple days later with photos of a party i told him about (valentines with a few friends) he never responded. Complete ghost.
I know ghosting is common on dating apps, but this one honestly hit me harder than I expected because the date felt genuinely good. Now I keep replaying everything in my head for months wondering if I said or did something wrong or if he just wasn’t attracted to me in person. I can’t help but feel super sad and discouraged and I completely deleted dating apps and stopped trying. I’m not sure if I looked different in my photos? I don’t use filters. Has anyone had a similar experience? Best date of your life and then complete ghost?
