I had no idea it would end so badly. I rushed through the missions as quickly as possible because I naively thought everything would turn out fine (deep down I knew Dutch would mess everything up and get everyone killed), and I thought I could just dilly dally about after the story mission and do the other side missions and so on. My heart sank during the final mission sequence when my horse sweetiepie died (😭), and then I beat the shit out of that fat fuck Micah, and afterwards I spawned as John and I just couldn’t get my head round it all, so I haven’t touched the game since because, to be honest, I’m just too confused.
Like that one side mission where you have to collect the dinosaur bones – I’m pretty sure there are places in Blackwater, but as Arthur you’re not allowed to enter that whole area, so am I just supposed to carry on with all these missions as John? I suppose Im overreacting, but I can’t imagine how I’m supposed to leave Arthur behind, and I’ll probably just play from an older, save point and pretend the story mission doesnt exist...
