I wanna be nice and help this lady get home. But bear.
I can either give into greed and take the $60 plus cosmetics for the pelt, or I can be the chivalrous hero like I’ve been playing so far and get who knows what.
We see he has money at the end which he leaves for John and co to take. He had already evaded the law for years - why didn't he go to Tahiti or wherever?
What - in his mind - did he want? Also why did he side with John instead of Micah at the end?
for some reason he is always like this lol
Is this just normal? I messed with every setting. Turned down the brightness in game and on the monitor. HDR is off and still the sun is like a super nova lmao
During chapter 6, i was about to do that Micah mission with Bill near Van horn. But one hostile guy from Butcher's creek followed me to the quest and shot me when i got near Micah (before the quest could start) so while Micah shot that guy, the option to jump into Micah horse appeared as i moved my horse near him, i jumped and somehow managed to steal it from him. Now Micah's using that random guy horse (i'm on ps5, so i'm not using mods)
Red Dead has legit changed my life. I felt that I was spiraling down this dopamine drought where I needed fast-moving gameplay or no cutscenes etc. to really enjoy a game but the slow-burn pace of this game helps build up such an interesting lore and makes the scenes with tension, like the shootout at Valentine with Cornwall’s men was fucking AMAZING man, have so much weight. I’ve always had Westerns as my favorite movie genre and this has checked every box I’ve ever dreamed of regarding experiencing this atmosphere of the Wild West firsthand. Growing up, I never had a console and only played free computer games since we were immigrants and couldn’t afford luxuries at the time. However, I’m working as a resident physician in the ED now and games like this really help ground me and make me slow down and that’s something I realized I lacked in my life. I really had a dopamine problem and now, I truly feel like I can watch movies/tv shows and not be bored so quickly. I also started reading books again because I’m not as bored anymore. This game has given me the ability to slow down and appreciate the little things through small activities like completing Herbalist, getting the LOTE satchel, certain stranger missions, etc. I’m only in Chapter 3 but I already love this game so much.
Thank you to the people who made the Red Dead franchise, you truly changed my life for the better. and I only can dream of what the removed 5 hours of content from the story could be like because it’s that good.
Not sure where the whole spiderweb thing came from since it was just there for detail but it was fun for a while.
If anyone wants to know what an outfit is made up of, feel free to ask, didn’t feel like listing it all here. Sorry for poor photo quality if you’re on desktop or trying to zoom in. I’m no photographer.
The first outfit is all I have left from my first playthrough. Just one save at the end of chapter 6. Glitched guarma outfit. What a sad run that was. Story focused and rushed. I basically forced myself to play the first time around.
Outfits 2-9 are from my second playthrough, though outfit 8/9 is a recreation since I deleted it to make space for outfit 6. I spent a ton of time in this run, and I unlocked all the trapper items. My taste in outfit was a little fancy for my current liking. I starved John, I was lazy. I’m sorry.
I didn’t include any outfits from my 3rd run because I didn’t buy any clothes that time around. I focused on missions only and didn’t even think about hunting or shopping. I wore blue jeans and the gunslinger coat. My taste in clothing was realistic that time around, and not really worth sharing.
Outfits 10-20 are from my 4th and current run. This play through has been my biggest yet. I’m completing the collection missions this time, and I already completed all 90 challenges as Arthur! Unfortunately, the legend of the east outfit is ass, but I just had to use it since I finally unlocked it after 500 hours of playing, so I tweaked it to my liking. I normally wear the judicious accessory with my LOTE outfit, but I had limited photo space and already had so many photos with that outfit.
I can't believe I never knew this existed lol ig it's bc the only time I stop a wagon is to rob it lol
been playing rdr2 now for the first time (dw ab spoilers i already did that to myself ), and ive gotten past the point of shooting up strawberry and valentine. im just... so baffled as to why arthurs allowed back into either town relatively quickly, but then not blackwater or its surrounding area for afaik the entire game? i mean i know some shit happened on that boat but did they kill the president or something??? heidi mccourt can not have been THAT important
The thought came to my head to maybe thomas downes wasnt actually going to give the money to charity and instead was going to pocket the money to pay off the debt. what do you think?
I’m lowkey cracking myself up with my own stupidity lmaoo. This was all in one day. No idea if people like watching these dumb clips or not.
"Why does my arthur look sick?"
"Why am I wanted In Blackwater?"
"Where is ____?"
"What happened to ___?"
GUYS JUST PLAY THE GAME YOULL FIND OUT EVENTUALLY! ITS MUCH MORE INTERESTING THEN ASKING PEOPLE ON REDDIT TO SPOIL YOU!!! I swear most of these questions are explained later on...pls...just wait for the explanation i promise. Even if you don't wanna be spoiled, most of these questions you'll ask are going to lead to a spoiler🥹✌️a lot things of hidden in letters, old houses and stranger missions!
Just have some god damn..FAITH
A long time ago in 2020, I made a couple of tin type videos.
I let the game carry on and live as I snapped 40 to 50 photos with my camera and sped up the footage. Creating a feel of the early 1890s moving pictures 😁
