AITAH? My best friend for over 20 years have been talking about a trip for her 40th birthday for years. She’s single and doesn’t have any kids. I’m married and have a 7yr old. For my 40th birthday (early 204) my husband, kid and best friend and I all went for 10 days to Disney World together. It was my childhood dream.
Her birthday is in a few months and she wants to go to Disney World but it will just be the two of us. My husband is upset and doesn’t want me going. He says I travel too much without him and our son. Since August 2024 I’ve been to England with friends to see The Eras Tour, Vancouver for one night to see The Eras tour and another trip to Las Vegas to see BSB. He hasn’t ravelled anywhere with friends during this time despite repeated encouragement from me to travel wherever he wants. We also just returned from a family vacation in the Caribbean.
I should also add that spend about one night a month away for work (two days one night).
Am I the asshole for wanting to go with my best friend for four nights?
