Lilly has a new toy other than her lambchop toy that she humps with complete abandon. She was obsessed with Rufus’s snuffle ball so I got her one just for her. It took her a minute to figure it out. Once she did, she was all over it. Then she took Rufus’s toy too. It makes me so happy to see her being a dog. She’s come such a long way in 2 years.
Btw, Rufus went in the dog bed after she left and looked for any hidden treats in both toys ❤️
Hi there, as someone who has struggled with disordered eating all of my life I had “goal weight” clothes in my closet for a very long time. I have moved away from that but I still hold on to one or two items that I really love.
Well today I tried on my favorite pair of summer jeans and much to my surprise they actually fit!! Also a pair of very wide flair jeans I bought earlier this spring I bought hoping they wouldn’t cut off the circulation to my brain ( they did) that were in the goal area also fit and no cutting off the circulation to my brain.
I had my diabetes np up my dose and it’s high. I want to titrate down to the next dose before/by the time I see her again. I am not experiencing the projectile vomiting that I suffered through with ozempic.
However the unpleasant side effects (I am sure I had them before) are here and it’s making a big difference in how I am eating. I am back to making sure I am getting healthy snacks in and no binge eating. I’m very happy and I am hoping that my eating disorder brain doesn’t kick in again. I’m also being more responsible for taking care of myself than I have been in a very long time.
This is her preferred way of sleeping 😴
I had an increase in my Mounjoro about 4-5 months ago. I have always bruised easily but I swear it’s taking longer to heal and I even asked the NP who handles my diabetes. She said she never heard of this being a side effect. Has anyone else had this problem.
Hello everyone, I’m turning 60 this winter. I had started to see hair loss at my crown and I was menopausal in my early 50’s. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in my late 40’s-50’s.
I started taking ozempic for my type 2 diabetes. It was a nightmare for me physically. All of the bad side effects including the projectile vomiting.
The hair loss was gradual and then I got breast cancer at 55. 5 years out from treatment with no evidence of disease. During the time of my breast cancer treatment my A1C wasn’t great 7.0-7.3 and I wasn’t eating.
Post cancer treatment I switched to Monjourno because I was starting to show signs that my kidneys were getting affected by my diabetes. Monjourno has reversed all of the kidney issues. My A1C is amazing and no insulin. Here’s the problem, my hair loss. It’s not in my mind. I’m not imagining things and if I bring it up with my doctors they deny my experience.
I am on oral minoxidil and the other medication and I recently started taking viviscal (sp). Glp1 users with diabetes, have you tried Moerie? Does it help.
