I really just need some direction. Last night an upstairs pipe burst while a family member was taking a shower. I heard a loud bang and assumed they had dropped something. My room is right below downstairs. Then I heard water hitting my floor and it was raining in my room.
This morning I woke up and I’m looking at plumbers and possibly electricians as I know that an electrical system could also be wet and damaged at this point. Where I live, there are a lot of electrical fires and houses that are lost completely to fire. I’m absolutely terrified of a house fire!
My house was built in 1997 and all by the man who owned the house prior to me. I have been living here for almost a year. I want to make sure the work is good quality but I also want to make sure that I contact anyone who can help fix my issue completely. I wish my own dad was still around so I could ask him questions on what to do but unfortunately, I lost him a while ago.
Any help that you can provide I would be very grateful!
