Why does notification dot gets turned off?

Anyone knows why I have to turn this on every few days? Why is dosent remain selected?

Hi everyone, this might be a stupid question, but I recently bought galaxy buds pro 4 and about a day ago I lost my left bud within my apartment. And for the life of my I can't find it. And by the time I realized I had dropped is somewhere it's battery was already dead.

At the risk of sounding stupid, is there something I can do to find it?
