Kotobukiya Mega Man X Zero 1st Ver. model kit troubles.

Heya, I literally just made this account because I was running out of ideas. Recently (literally two days ago), I purchased the Kotobukiya Mega Man X Zero 1st Ver. model kit. Since this is my first-ever model build, I was excited and a little nervous.

When I started building it, everything seemed to be going well. I even managed to complete Zero’s head. Unfortunately, I immediately hit a wall when I got to the torso. For whatever reason, the back armor piece (A1-3) doesn’t fit into the back of piece L1. After taking everything apart and putting it back together countless times, only to get the same result, and with the lack of reviews or building guides for this figure, I figured my only hope was turning to the community for assistance.

The pictures included show the building process and what I did leading up to trying to attach A1-3 to L1. Again, I’m not going to pretend this isn’t my first real model kit, because it absolutely is. So if the mistake I made is super obvious, that’s probably why.

Thank you all for the help, and sorry if this ends up being something super minor. I’m a total model-builder newgen 😭
