Recent bad experience with DinoDen

So recently I played more on DinoDen Eu1 as it was a pretty full and lively sever.

However what bothered me was the following: I saw an Egg and spawned in as a Raptor. There was a huge pack if 20-30 Raptors nesting in south delta. That was not the issue. What really bothered me was the body drops. Some Players would just randomly spawn in dead bodys. Later on a different Raptor mentioned that it is done via the Website.

I however have the feeling that some mods abuse this feature as there were like 4-5 bodies around.

I get the appeal. AI is currently bugged and Carnis tend to starve to death.

However there are like 400 people on the server. Go hunt them. Whats the use if 1/8 of the Server Population is alone a raptor mega pack in delta surviving by spawning dead bodies?

It also kills the whole survival aspect of the game. The players were friendly and all good on their part, maybe they enjoy this gameplay but I for my part wont spawn in as a raptor egg in that server again.

What really bothered me was some if the raptors acting tough „That Rex was scared of us“ I mena of course you are a megaoack of raptors surviving on dead dibbles and stego spawning from thin air.

Any similiar experinces with the server?

LMB for Cerato Charged Bite?

This may be a dumb question but I really couldnt find an answer online and this game doesnt have a tutorial.

When charging Ceratos Charge Bite with holding RMB. Do I just let go of RMB or do I need to click LMB to do the charged bite attack?

LMB = Left mouse Button

RMB = Right mouse button

I feel like spawning in swamp is a death sentence

Last couple of days played lots of herrera and i spawned in swamp like 80% of the time. Its just so big and and traversing it takes so long with all the swimming involved. Nothing lifes here nothing spawns here. Its sad as the concept is cool.

Kinda new to the game, anyone else feel anxious playing bigger dinos solo?

I can’t be the only one who feels this way. I want to play bigger dinos like Rex, Allo or Trike, but every time I do I feel like I have a target on my back. With the long grow times and groups everywhere, I’m constantly expecting an ambush.

Cerato also stresses me out, which sucks because it’s my favorite dinosaur. Instead of feeling like a predator, I feel like prey. It’s slow, there are a lot of pin/grab abilities now, and other Ceras are often cannibalistic because of the gameplay loop.

That’s why I mostly stick to Herrera. Climbing trees and being able to avoid danger makes the game way less stressful for me. I can then enjoy it more.

I mostly play solo, so maybe that’s part of it. Any solo players here who feel the same? How do you deal with the anxiety of growing bigger dinos?
