22' VB Looking for solution for exhaust leak from midpipe to axle back
Hey guys, I just got my car back from the dealership and they showed my leak from the 2 bolt flange gasket from the midpipe to the axle back. The photo shows where it is, it is only in that bottom portion of the exhaust. It is the same for both sides. I do have an aftermarket axle back from AFD. I noticed the fitment wasn't perfect so that is definitely why I have the leak. But I want to find permanent solutions to make sure this doesn't happen.
So far I tried replacing it with graphite gasket. But it still happens. I am considering exhaust permatex silicone, or even multiple gaskets, or filling the gasket in with additional material only at the area that was leaking.
What have u guys tried to permanently solve this?
