Anything you find significant , interesting or hopeful about my chart?

First time posting here🐤

for context: never been a very decoration-oriented person, my mom had excellent taste and eye for furniture, textiles etc, I know what a classy home looks like, but I just assumed I don't have that talent . However, I'm feeling the need to make my (newish) apartment comfy and beautiful (and easy to clean). As you may notice, my fear of messing things up makes my space look dull, empty, sad and unfinished. I've had some health issues - been barely surviving for months -(decorating was not a priority) but I'm feeling better now.
I have recently been obsessed with the fact that my white storage bed looks huge and I hate it. I find my mattress very comfortable but on top of this bed it just looks too high for my small room( total is 64 cm: 34+30).I know I really need a headboard , actually I have seen a couple I like (neutral, minimalistic).
the thing is I chose those nighstands in a hurry when we moved but now I don't like them with the white bed and the laminate floor colour. For that reason, I still have not bought any lamps. The nighstands look bulky and depressing. They are excellent quality mango wood, but I want to get rid of them and add something visually lighter (one drawer only, with legs).
Room is smaller than it looks on the picture. Big window to the left, bathroom to the right. Bed is facing the door but it is the only way to place it.
so: please help me liven up my bedroom, I can get rid of everything and start anew if necessary. or: I may just go for a lower mattress and keep the storage bed - with the right bedding and headboard I guess it woul look ok. Not a fan of curtains and rugs, but I'm open to suggestions.
