The dinky donut cart in cathedral square

Anyone know what happened to the old chap who used to make the donuts there? I would have thought if he had retired, they would have had a piece in the telegraph or on Facebook as he was there for donkey years.

Passed it yesterday and there’s loads of neon signs advertising pani puri and it’s got a young lad in there.

T54 1500 to be re run

I’m sorry but that’s nonsense lol. Probably should have been restarted at the time but you shouldn’t have a medal ceremony and a result then decide the next day it doesn’t count.

Keely Hodgkinson & Dina Asher-Smith in Great Britain's European Athletics Championships squad

And there’s the rest of our athletics squad sigh.

This is the shame and why you need early confirmation and a proper date for championships. The whole team has skipped Glasgow for the Europeans by looks of things. None of these will be withdrawing.

Zoo/farm London for very young kid

We have a free day in London on the 19th (Monday) and would like to take my little one to see some animals. He’s not 2 yet, so I don’t think London zoo is right as he won’t have the energy for it, so I will be paying a fair whack to push him around asleep in his pushchair!

I feel I have visited Hanwell before but it was a bit difficult to get to, and I seem to remember stumbling upon Hackney city farm too at some point.

Ideally just looking for some ideas that are easy to get to (going by tube or bus) and maybe have a restaurant worth visiting nearby.

Any local knowledge or place I’m missing out on?
