Just wondering what the cheapest possible stay is in Chamonix I’m a broke uni student with a tent so anywhere that allows me to put a tent down would be awesome or if there are some cheap hostels
Hey guys, I’m from Australia but had to come to Europe for family, and when I booked my trip I gave myself 9 days in Chamonix before I go back, 6th–15th Oct.
Had a partner to climb with, but most likely they’ll want to go later now, which is obviously the right thing to do. Just wondering if anyone else is around then to try and attempt some routes, if there are even any enjoyable ones left.
I wanted to try Cosmics arete and Midi NF, but have heard that currently Cosmic’s Arete is in its worst state.
Also, I do have reasonable experience, I’ve spent almost 2 months a year in the NZ Alps for the last few years, but have none in the Alps, so this is something to consider.
