I collect ancient coins but a friend of mine loves the Wild West Era. I read that Morgans are THE cowboy/Wild West coin so I’m looking to get one.
First, is the Morgan truly THE coin for that era?
Second, how much should I be paying for an EF example and where should I be looking (ideally somewhere somewhat official, don’t want to use eBay and such for this purchase).

I need help deciphering this coin’s scripture, especially the mint. This is not only for my personal knowledge but also because CNG and Stephen Album described them differently (mint). What follows are their respective descriptions:
-Abdallah b. al-Zubayr. Rival caliph, AH 60-73 / AD 680-692. AR Drachm (31.3mm, 4.16 g, 3h). DA-G (Jahrum) mint. Dated YE 56 (AH 68 = AD 687/8). Obverse margin: – / bism allah / – / –. Malek, Arab-Sasanian 470; Album 16. Good VF. Scarce.
-'Abd Allah b. al-Zubayr, 680-692, AR drachm (4.14g), DA (Darabjird), YE56, A-16, better date, lightly curved flan, cleaning scratches, XF, ex Frank S. Robinson Collection.

I am new to colognes so I don’t know much at all
I am asking because although I got it from a trusted company (fragrancebuy . Ca) it just doesn’t smell like the store one I tested. Also, I don’t smell it on me at all and I recently got it so I know I’m not totally nose blind.
Also, I feel like the box bottom isn’t the same as other examples I saw on the internet (the others have a full circle of text around the bottom of the tin, not just half a circle.
Anyways any help is appreciated, maybe I’m just overthinking and nose blind lmao. Maybe I gotta let it sit but that doesn’t make sense for such an expensive fragrance
Id love to see your coins and how much you payed. From what I can see, although some are common, the online offer isn’t too great so im curious.
Also, I see one I like and I don’t want to get ripped off (I know it’s legit, this is more price wise)
I just learned and researched about flan cracks but one question I wasn’t able to answer is: when buying a coin, how bad must it be to stop thinking abt the coin/cancel plans to purchase. Like how bad does a crack need to be to be considered bad/risky/not worth the investment
