Olfactory Family: Citrus, Woody
Top notes: Bergamot, Lemon
Middle notes: Patchouli, Lavender, Nutmeg
Base notes: Musk Accord, Cedarwood, Amber

Been a collector for a little over 2 years and i’m finally to the point in my collection that I believe I have a good balance of quality and quantity, with that being said i’d like to start a decanting website so I have a reason to continue to grow my collection and maybe make some money on the side doing so. Let me know what yall’s experiences have been like and if you have any recommendations they would be greatly appreciated!

PDM Sedley: Great summer freshie that lasts forever on my skin. Opens up like diet sprite and dries down into a very clean soap. Something like dove soap.

PDM Perseus: Not the biggest fan of this one. Very very bitter to my nose.

PDM Layton: Newer batch or just cause of my skin chemistry but doesn’t last on me at all. Loveeee the scent profile though. Really try and not to smell Vicks buttttt I dot get a whiff of it and I just smile.

PDM Herod: Amazing fragrance one of my faves. Doesn’t project but does last a good amount of time close to my skin. So I just sniff my wrists a lot. A sweet tobacco. But to me it doesn’t even smell like traditional tobacco but more of like a clean sweet smoke.

Nishane Wulong Cha: Great floral and tea combo! Very relaxing.

Nishane Fan Your Flames: BEAST MODE. Didn’t like it at first but grew one me. VERY HEAVY Booze! Straight smells like a jazz club.

Nishane Ani: Burnt Marshmallows. Great gourmand.

Sospiro Vibrato: Fizzy grapefruit drink. Really addicting scent profile that tickles my nose. Worth the hype.

Prada L Homme: Straight up smells like a make up bag. Not bad. I wear to the office.

Initio Rehab: Intoxicating scent profile that is great for all seasons in my opinion. Stays closer to the skin and doesn’t project much. Very woody.

Byredo Bal D’Afrique: Musky clean linen. Better on clothes for me. Doesn’t last long on skin.

Azzaro the most wanted parfum: Like this better than SWYI cause of the grape soda like opening.

SWYI: Don’t reach for this one much.

LV Imagination: Because of this, I have been obsessed with tea scent over since. My favorite out of all my collection and I always make sure I smell the cap almost everyday. It’s that good!

How did I do? I recently got into this and got some from Jomashop and others from TJ Maxx. Some of them very blind buys as well. I feel like reviews tell you maybe 10% of the story and you have to actually try out things and here we are!

I've been getting to fragrances since September. Any new fragrances to try out would be appreciated!

So I picked up my Club de Nuit Intense Man Pure Parfum back in late February this year, and it’s now been a solid 4 months of letting it sit and mature. Problem is, it’s still just not showing up the way I expected. Projection is weak, longevity is nowhere close to what people rave about, and at this point I’m genuinely unsure if it needs even more time or if I just got an off batch.

I love this DNA so much that I honestly couldn’t keep waiting around disappointed every time I sprayed it. So instead of losing more time, I went ahead and picked up the Limited Edition version to actually enjoy the scent I love while the PP keeps resting in the back of my collection to (hopefully) mature further.

Figured this way I’m not wasting the fragrance by spraying it before it’s ready, and I still get to enjoy the CDNIM line properly in the meantime with the LE.

Has anyone else had a PP take longer than 4 months to actually open up? Did it eventually turn a corner for you, or should I be worried I got a bad batch? Would love to hear from people who’ve dealt with this.

I've been hunting for versatile, year round fragrances that open with bright citrus or woods and dry down into a solid leather(literally on Scircle.ai looking for something like these two yesterday and decided to wait) These two absolutely nailed it. Both project really well and give off a classy but modern vibe. They also smell way above their price point. Very high quality and not synthetic at all, at least to me.

Banana Republic Midnight Hour

Opens with a really fresh mango and ginger kick before settling into a rich leather and oud base. Super versatile and an easy grab for hitting a taproom or catching a live show, which I do often, yet clean enough and non offensive for me at work also

Salvatore Ferragamo Intense Leather

The mandarin orange opening is fantastic and it drying down into a solid earthy, high quality Italian sports car leather and oakmoss. Feels super solid and well thought out and is perfect for overcast PNW days, but still fresh enough for the office.

I honestly would wear both even in high heat of summer without question. Highly recommend for other leatherheads.

In my honest opinion both Zara and ELDO are underrated houses and well worth what you pay for them! Chëck them out if you haven't already!

I keep seeing YouTube lists and reviews with this one, I can’t find it anywhere under $48 in the US. Everyone is saying “for $20 you can’t go wrong”.

So this is my collection after a year. I think I cover a lot of bases and there is even some overlap. The ADG Profondo might replace the EDT, but the EDT is a good, easy wear during the summer when casually going out, or to the gym or beach. I like it.

YSL Y EDP: This is my default scent and my favorite. Its clean and has that just stepped out of a shower smell. I love it

Savauge Parfum: I feel like I needed to own a Savauge and I really like the parfum. It would be a great date night scent. Women seem to love Sauvage.

Azzaro The Most Wanted Intense: I love the sweet but warm scent this has. Wore this on a date over the winter and she loved it.

YSL Myself l'absolu: Love the cirtus smell. Its stays on me all day and its probably my favorite outside of the YSL Y.

ADG Profondo EDP: Really good for summer nights and going out with someone. I like that it has more depth than the EDT. Got this on sale at Macys a few weeks ago.

ADG EDT: Like I said above, it's a good easy reach during the summer for casual wear. I like wearing this to the gym also.

Guerlain l'Homme Ideal: I wanted something for niche and it smells really good! It has good depth and the dry down is great. I'd probably wear this on cooler summer nights, or during the fall, winter and spring.

Overall, my collection is done until I run out of something. I have been thinking of getting Blue de Channel. Also, I'd like to try Allure Homme Sport, but not anytime soon, I think. Although I am open to suggestions if you think I can add something that won't overlap too much.

Not a huge fan of ME fragrances but I have been wanting to smell this one for quite a while because of all the damn influencers . Well, today got lucky as I received it as a present and tbf I dont find it any different than the EDP I had previously owned. Definitely smoother than the OG but honestly I dont understand the hype. Those of yall who own it, what’s your opinion?
