Pulled the trigger twice lol

First time smelling and buying any LV fragrance. I went to the LV store in Saks Fifth (Troy, MI) Went to get one, and left with two after I couldn’t choose between L’immnesite + Meteore. Smelled Imagination and wasn’t impressed. S/o to My associate who showed love and gave me 7 samples. Looking forward to refilling in the future 😎 What are your thoughts on the longevity and performance of these two fragrances. I love them.

Daily SOTD Post

As we've noticed a large number of individual SOTD post, we thought it best to consolidate into a once daily post.

Post your scent of the day here, tell us a little about it too if you would like.

Hey guys, wanted to know your opinions on this fragrance.

I recently tested it in Sephora and I sprayed it on my wrist. I loved it on the first sniff. The vanilla and patchouli is so addictive.
I wanted to know about its performance and can it be used for summers nights?
I would really appreciate your guys input😇🙏

Which one would you choose for a colder weather scent? I can’t decide.

Bought a decant of both of these, and I can’t decide. The cold weather hasn’t quite left where I live yet.

I have a Reflection 45 as well, but that’s a bit too pricey.

I am wondering what the differences between those are. Which one is the best and why? The only one i have smelled so far is the basic khamrah

Byredo Bald ahh freak review

Genuinely impressed with this one. It doesn't have the projection of Imagination, but it has some of the best longevity in my whole collection. I can still smell it on the tester strip from last Saturday, and it lasts 12 hours or

more on my skin. Its soft, so I doubt it projects much, but I dont care.

Yesterday, my nose was finally able to pick up on the woody notes instead of the usual slightly sweet, slightly creamy, citrus bomb I was used to smelling. Sometimes it smells borderline gourmand to my nose, similar to the BR540 DNA. I have been wearing it everyday since last Saturday and have yet to be bored of it. Likely 30-50 sprays used and the bottle still looks brand new and full. Likely will never finish it, but thats fine.

Best fragrance of all time? Nah. Its close, though. I think imagination being cheaper and refillable makes it the better choice. I have also seen some people pick up full bottles of Aventus for under 180 on fragranceswap. At that price, I think Aventus is probably the goat. Most 125 ml PDMS go for that price, as well. This one is also more expensive than Aventus Absolu.

I picked up AA for 330 and Bald ahh freak for 350. AA projects way more and lasts 8 hours. I think my personality fits better with AA. Its darker, heavier, and more in your face.

Overall, this is a 10/10 (If its in your budget). Probably will end up in my top 5.

Most Overrated and Underrated Cologne House?

Not limited to niche. It was the only good picture I could find.

The most underrated brands to me would be Guerlain and Hugo Boss. These are not unknown at all, but I don't see them regarded and mentioned to the same degree that most other brands are.

The most overrated brands to me are Louis Vuitton and Creed. *insert 100 downvotes*

First blind buy on my recently resurrected cologne habit

I have three other frags from Givenchy, YSL and Bvlgari that I bought after trying decants. They all smell nice but only last 1-2 hours. So i wanted something potent and citrusy for the summer and heard Hawas got dat fiya. Well, it does. And it was cheap enough to buy blind. It's quite potent compared to my other three and lasts most of the day.

The only problem is I smell like a gas station clerk who might even own the gas station. I put it on for the first time and was instantly transported to inside an urban gas station. I always wondered what the clerks were wearing. Turns out, they were wearing Hawas for Him.

Not sure how I feel about that. I guess it shouldn't matter. But the inside of the gas station usually has some other scents going on such as BO, mildew and piss mints that combine with the cologne into something rather off putting. So it's taking some time to accept this new scent.

When I first put it on, it's a tangerine candy bomb. Then it calms down and reveals orange blossom, lavender and musk. Not bad. Not great. Generally pleasant and unoffensive. Smells a bit old timey. Long lasting for sure but doesn't overpower the room after it calms down. At only $30, I have no regrets and will probably use the whole bottle.

Anyone know a step up?

I’m not that into cologne.

Got this one as gift and I quite like the smell. I use it nearly daily for work and just going out, The smell doesn’t seem to last that long tho.

It is running out however so I thought I’d ask here to see if anyone got a recommendation on something that smells similar and maybe last a little longer. I’d also appreciate something if said recommendation is affordable.
