Am I the asshole for catching a catfish
Hello, I (28) female has a friend (25) that has been texting this guy for. A year and half. They met on a dating site and only text. His number isn't real. He uses a texting app. They have never FaceTime and hasn't seen his face but the one Picture on the dating app they matched on. He lives in a different state from her. She sends him "pictures" and it made me very concerned. One day she send me a picture of his leg and I google reverse it and I found out the picture was fake. I was so upset for her and send it her way saying he is fake and that I cared about her and was concerned. She told me that I crossed a line and I broke her trust and that she is never talking to me again. Am I the asshole for looking out for my friend and she is wasting her time on a catfish and not being safe about it.
