RM who wants to quit
I’m currently an RM at Cane’s making around $20/hr, but I’m completely burnt out. The constant closing shifts, getting home around 3 a.m., inconsistent scheduling, and lack of personal time are starting to get to me.
I don’t necessarily hate the people I work with, but I’m tired of the lifestyle that comes with the job. I’ve been looking at other jobs with morning schedules, even if the pay is similar, because I want an actual life outside of work.
For anyone who left Cane’s as a manager: did you regret it? Did you give a full two week notice, step down first, or just leave once you had something else lined up? And how did the conversation go with your RL, ARL or did you need to talk the actual leader of your area?
