Do you think I’ll get hired?

This would be my first job if the hired me. I just got done interviewing and they said they’ll reach out to me. What are my chances looking like?

ARL

Is being an ARL worth it? What is the quality of life? How many closing shifts is it usually? I wouldn’t mind night shifts but don’t want to be a regular closer until 3/4 AM…

Time edits

When management changes part of your clock ins to Meet rather than your scheduled position does it affect your time based raises??

Would it also affect overtime?

Who decides how long shifts are?

i was wondering on who decides how long shifts are for crew members, it’s it’s the RL, ARL? Recently we have been getting 3 hour shifts and it’s annoying, they do this so we don’t have to take breaks and can schedule a bunch of people in a day, we all complain about it having to come to work for only 3 hours, we are a high volume restaurant . my area leader of training said it’s up the RL and ARL, but they say other wise, i pick up shifts and work 6 days a week and only get like 24 hours it’s pretty annoying, thank you

Raising Canes chicken *nuggets*

They’re not Raising Canes Chicken Finger anymore, they’re Chicken Nuggets. Look at the size of that one *nugget* some of the fries were bigger than it!!

Do you think Canes has gone too corporate in the past year or 2 when it comes to workers wellbeing

I ask this cause I been at the company for 2 and a half years and I have noticed that higher ups are no longer caring about there workers well being and hell when I did that survey they made me fill out I told them how I really feel cause this company feels like its loosing its identity when it comes to the employees. I also wanna bring up that for me they have been making me do the same shit of me standing outside in the blistering texas heat for the past year since HH were first introduced and I am getting to the point where I plan on going to HR and claim discrimination since I also believe they dont want me to move on up in the company because of my disabilities and before anyone says oh did you speak with your manager did you ask around and yes I have for the past year and I was never the one too complain but man having to deal with all these "Corporate Cucks" as I say its so tiring cause I feel like they want me out of there even those there aint even any good jobs around me. Anyway I just wanted to vent cause man its frustrating

Work

I just got hired and finished the orientation process. I want to start working as soon as possible, but I’m just confused on what I need to do. Do I need to wait for a manager to send out some sort of schedule for the training or whatever or do I need to do something myself in the app. Any help would be appreciated.

Working with piercings

Okay so I’ve been working at canes since like January without a problem, but now I’m getting told I’d need to flip my septum and my other coworkers would need to take out their nose studs and I’m just wondering what’s the rules on piercings?? Especially when we wasn’t told any prior/during to the hiring and the multiple months we’ve been working.

I love the honey mustard, no one talks about it!

Somedays I add a pack of hot sauce to the honey mustard or the canes sauce.

Work

I’ve been working at Canes for a little over a month and the only zone I’m trained in so far is kitchen. It wasn’t bad at first I was having so much fun with my coworkers but then it’s like something shifted over the next few days. So far they’ve only put me on toast and don’t give me the chance to get more practice in on boards or bird or anything. I think I’ve been on boards a total of two times and then they moved me after. I know I’m slow but I can’t really get any better without any practice?? And I was also on bird two times and the managers told me I was doing good but then they moved me back to toast and I haven’t been on boards or bird since. I don’t mind being on toast but I wish I could get a bit of practice in so I can get better. Also the environment now is so different I hate it. There’s so much gossip and tension now, and this one girl the one time I was on boards kept calling me slow and I know I’m slow but there wasn’t really a need to call me out especially repeatedly like she did. That same girl has also spread so much gossip and she talks about literally everyone. She gets mad at the girls in drive through because they don’t bump orders fast enough even when they have their hands full and calls them names loud enough for them to hear. I used to have fun working here even though it was for only a month but the environment is just so ugly now. Even the managers are rude and they will get onto you for literally anything. Does it get better? I have another job interview soon and I’m debating just going over there if I get hired

Is it easy to get a job at Raising Cane’s? if yes, what do they really look for and what questions do they ask? I’m curious because people say it’s an easy job to get but a friend has been telling me that they were giving him a hard time. I wanted to ask because I’m trying to help him.

should i report him??

I’ve been missing hours since LAST SATURDAY (May 25th) today is june 4th. I’ve given plenty of time for my ARL to try to fix it but from his last response it sounds like he’s just playing with me. Seems like he only said he contacted payroll is because I went ahead and was going to contact someone myself. LMK am I wrong for thinking to report???

Venting

I'm so sick of this job. I'm trained everywhere, CT, SS, BS, and HiPo and used to average 35-39 hours a week. My availability is pretty open but they always have me work midday (10-30-5 or 11-5pm) I've explained so much that I love that and hate working dinner shifts although its my availability I can technically work them. We recently got a new ARL and these schedules has been crazy. The new schedule I got 27 hours, all drive-through shifts from 4-9pm all on expo. I'm always in kitchen and never expo nor dinner shifts. This is the second time my schedule was stupid. I know its technically my availability but every crew member I know hates these schedules. I'm just so frustrated with the job right now. Theres no communication between managers, the schedules are stupid, and the hipo program is a joke. My RL and old ARL always told me I'm in charge of my own success, and I keep trying to knock out these HiPo tasks but none of the managers care enough too. How am I supposed to be in charge of my own success if they won't help me? Just needed to vent. Im planning on putting in my 2 weeks on monday.

A recipe for disaster

An employment force that hates their work, small portions of food, sky rocketing prices for the food, and a customer base that is growing sour on the brand.

Tell me how this place will survive over the next 5 years as a food chain. There are many other fast food places that do 1000% better for value and as a business than Raising Canes.

finally got fired

for context i got a new job about 2 and a half months ago and i adjusted my availability to only mondays. they havent scheduled me for a shift since and i havent picked any up.
i knew this was a long time coming and im not mad about it! just a little bittersweet to fully part ways with the job i was at for roughly a year and a half.
let me say i hateddd working at raising canes, the hours, the management, the pay vs the job! none of it was worth it! a 16 hour shift at my new job is so much easier on me than a 4 hour shift at canes!
im so grateful for the experience but so so grateful its over LOL! good riddance !
