I’ve been with canes since I was a sophomore in high school and now I’m going to college. How would it be possible for me to leave and come back to work during fall breaks

I was in state (NOVA) and had a 4.3 GPA but was waitlisted for BIT and then rejected. I felt pretty confident that I’d get in because of my GPA and the fact I did VT’s pre colleges programs. I’m now going to JMU but wanted to do spring transfer into Econ at VT. I plan to keep my gpa pretty high probably 3.7 and above, what should I know if I want to get in?
