Cinemark Seven Bridges IMAX Projection Booth (June 2004)

Full credit to the Adam Martin collection and CinemaTour.com

These are the only known photos of the booth at Cinemark Seven Bridges, and it's strongly assumed these SR projectors, at least 1 of them will be put back into service for The Odyssey.

Hopefully we get an updated tour once The Odyssey releases.

IONNA speed!

Had a slight issue at the Seffner Ionna, stalls 5A/B both basically dead, charged fine on 6A. This location kinda sucks, it’s a random property next to a Hampton Inn and a Ford Dealership with zero amenities other than a fancy porta potty

70MM Experience at Disney Springs

Wanted to share a few photos from my experience. This is the same theatre and setup that will screen Dune and Odyssey in 70Mm.

70MM Experience at Disney Springs

Wanted to share a few photos from the experience. This is the same setup that will also run Dune and Odyssey later this year.

Disney Springs has moved the 70MM Projector to a small theater.

For those that have watched 70MM here for other releases, it was always in 13, the XL screen. It has now been moved to theatre #3, a much smaller 1.85:1 Flat screen. Anything to pump that XL $$$

This will never be accepted, but thought it was a cool picture I took.

Chicago without Soldier Field

With the Bears in Indiana, we could open up the area so much without the stadium lol

Barco Laser projectors not automatically moving 3D filters during 2D movies (image way too dark)

Anyone else dealing with this lately?

My local there upgraded to Barco Laser projectors that are supposed to have automated sliders to pull the 3D filters out of the way for regular 2D films. Except the sliders aren’t working, so the 3D polarization filters stay in place and the entire movie looks dark as hell — dim, washed out, and honestly unwatchable.

This isn’t a one-off. It’s happening consistently in multiple auditoriums.

Super frustrating. I’ve seen a bunch of people complaining about dark screens lately and this seems to be the reason.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any word from AMC on a fix?
