Umm so like is there a way to fix this at all? It’s really ruins the experience on all standard and 70mm format screenings at my local AMC.
Would red signs be better or is there a way other theaters have handled this issue before?

Is this movie ever gonna come out? I swear I’ve seen trailers for it for literally over a year in theaters. I’m at the theater right now for Digger and it just played. Honestly I have no desire to see it because of how obnoxious the trailers have been lol.
I was reading that this would be in Dolby format. Local AMC in Chicagoland showtimes don’t reflect that. Should I just buy the laser showtime?
my 16 year old nephew bought the subscription and i feel bad cause he tried to get tickets to see resident evil but since it’s rated R he cant even get in the movie by himself, much less even buy the damn ticket online lol. And what sucks is most of the movies out right now are Rated R. Seems like kind of a waste, not sure there’s a way around this but i doubt it… he turns 18 in january of 2028😭😭 poor guy hahaha
im not sure what’s coming out in the coming months but hopefully shit he can actually go watch on his own.

Went to go see Primetime last week in a group of 3. We’re all 20 and had our IDs. My girlfriend and I are both A-List members but our friend is not.
I had done entourage for my girlfriend and bought the ticket for our friend since It’d be cheaper that way. Our AMC changes employees / management weekly and a new manager I had never seen before was scanning tickets. He said something weird about us hoping we had our ID’s and I got the vibe he wanted to find a problem with us going in.
My girlfriend scans her ticket and he gets all weird and asks if she bought just one ticket for herself. She did. Then he scans my thing with my ticket and our friend’s on it. Then he says “So you’re under 21, and you bought two tickets?” I said yeah but she’s got her ID and that we’re all old enough (talking about my friend who turns 21 in two weeks).
He glances at the ID and tells us that because I’m under 21 I can’t buy more than one ticket to a R rated movie. So he made us go refund the tickets and buy our tickets individually (which cost my friend twice as much since she isn’t A-list). The employee we talked to about exchanging tickets was super confused. Then the manager didn’t even look at our tickets after we did that and just let us through.
I can’t find any AMC policies about this and it’s been bugging me. It’s not a big deal, but it was just weird and felt like the manager was on a power trip. So if anyone has any information about that policy / why it’s a policy I’d love to hear about it!
TLDR: Manager made us refund two tickets to Primetime we bought on one account and then buy our tickets individually because we aren’t 21 yet. Is there a policy limiting the number of rated R tickets you can buy?
I went into my AMC app to check tickets and my advance tickets are gone including my Avengers: Doomsday opening day. I still have my email and didn’t cancel anything. Wtf? Should I contact AMC themselves or is it just me? I ain’t trying to lose my ticket at all. I have a good spot for opening night at Avengers: Doomsday Dolby
I contacted amc twice already through the contact page about not having the new investor connect chocolate pretzel offer in my amc account. I never got a response and the offer for the buy a pretzel and get a bag of chocolate pretzels is not in my account.
So how else do you possibly contact amc since they don't accept Facebook dms anymore?

I'm so excited I got my Pan's Labyrinth 3D AMC tickets for Thursday but not excited its not sold out. I can't wait to see Doug Jones again in this movie! 🐐👁️❤️❤️
AMC said they do a night before event now for fans but not sure how it's supposed to work but I can't wait.
