my 16 year old nephew bought the subscription and i feel bad cause he tried to get tickets to see resident evil but since it’s rated R he cant even get in the movie by himself, much less even buy the damn ticket online lol. And what sucks is most of the movies out right now are Rated R. Seems like kind of a waste, not sure there’s a way around this but i doubt it… he turns 18 in january of 2028😭😭 poor guy hahaha
im not sure what’s coming out in the coming months but hopefully shit he can actually go watch on his own.

i want to start going to the gym, i have a membership i never use but i have no clue what the hell to do on a day to day basis. I’ve bought all the food i need that’ll help me with a calorie deficit but i don’t want to be in the gym doing stuff that’s doing absolutely nothing for me. My goal is to lose 100lbs/45kg in one year. I know it’s doable but what i lack plain and simple is discipline. Any advice helps you guys, thanks and i hope everyone’s journey is going well.

this Saturday I’m going to a funeral and I’m taking my one year-old, but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea. If anything, I won’t be there for very long. I myself I’m not good with funerals. I coparent with his mom and I asked her if she could keep him while I go, but she is unable to. Do you guys have any advice? Like should I bring toys or snacks or anything like that? also what should i dress him in that’s appropriate for the occasion but also comfortable for him

I’ve noticed recently that my FYP has been completely taken over by Brazilian content. Even videos that are spoken entirely in English are getting flooded with Portuguese comments.
I’m genuinely confused because I don’t remember interacting with Brazilian content enough for my algorithm to shift this heavily and so suddenly
Is anyone else experiencing this? And does anyone know why this is happening?

I haven’t been on Bumble in years, and I just made a profile yesterday. I’ve already gotten about five likes, but of course I can’t see who they’re from unless I pay.
And then I see Bumble Premium+ is $50 A WEEK?? 😭
That is straight-up robbery. There is absolutely no way you can justify charging $50 every single week for a dating app subscription. That’s $200+ a month just to see who liked you and access some extra features. At that point, I could spend that money on an actual date.
I genuinely don’t understand how anyone can look at that price and think, “Yeah, that’s reasonable.” Trying to justify that price is honestly morally wrong. Dating apps already monetize people’s desire to meet someone, but $50 a week is an absurd level of greed.
I’ll just sit here wondering who the hell liked me.

Now I’m debating whether I should just avoid the movie entirely until then so my first viewing is in the best possible format, or if I should go see it in XD now and then catch the 70mm IMAX showing later.

It was on Alpha and Preston and it was the dopest fucking place to be for me as a kid. Think of like movie trading company or places like that but HUGE. This place had all types of shit: TVs, instruments, cellphones, video games, movies, stereos, and the list goes on. What's crazy is anytime I mention this place to anyone they don't know what I'm talking about, I can only reminisce with my parents and brothers about so I'm wondering who out there remembers Entertainmart.

I bought my ticket to see Mortal Kombat 2 in XD on a DBOX seat, which I’m super excited about because I’ve never actually sat in a DBOX seat before, and honestly I can’t think of a better movie to try it with for the first time. Anyway, I was about to order food with my ticket and randomly remembered that the few times I’ve been in auditoriums with DBOX seats, I don’t think I ever saw trays attached to them. At first I thought maybe I was just remembering wrong, so I called the theater to check. The employee confirmed they actually don’t have trays on those seats. So I asked, very politely, “So if someone orders food, they basically just have to eat off their lap?” and he said, “Unfortunately, yes.” So I thanked him for his time and hung up. Now I’m sitting here confused because maybe the answer is super obvious and I’m just overthinking it, but is there actually a practical reason these seats don’t have trays? Do the seats move around that much that food would just go flying everywhere if trays were attached? I genuinely don’t know, someone explain this to me lol
