My take is round 2. Stop

As we know from the Busan flashbacks (Chapter 550), there is still one undisclosed King who closely resembles Lee Do-Gyu, and there is also an undisclosed region — Jeju Island, a remote island that is still part of Korea.

In the latest chapter with Daniel Park (Chapter 605), we see him in a rocky, mountainous area. This perfectly matches the coastal terrain leading toward Jeju. As we remember, the Hunt for Workers arc takes place far outside of Seoul. They traveled for over an hour, which is enough time to reach coastal regions.

This could also mirror the arrival of Park Jong Gun in Korea. Back then, he was welcomed by Gapryong Kim and his sword, Baekho Kwon. In this case, it could be the King of Jeju appearing instead.

Jeju Island has already been hinted at in Lookism. For example, during the 3rd Affiliate arc, a high-ranking Taekwondo fighter mentioned that even rumors about Taehun Seong had reached his island. This suggests that Jeju is isolated when it comes to information flow.

That detail is important — because if even they “heard rumors,” it implies information travels there very slowly. So if Daniel Park disappears, he could effectively be considered “dead” for a long time before news reaches the mainland.

So what’s the main idea?

Daniel’s body could drift toward Jeju Island, where the unknown King might find him and take him in — possibly along with Eugene (Yujin) and his brother. There’s also a chance that this King already has some connection with Eugene.
