About those new documents…
Love the writing in this game so much, and the new documents seem to foreshadow some changes at Sinyala
I think it’s brilliant to have Easterman accidentally use Amelia’s name instead of Liliya’s during his meeting with Avellanos and Scarfiotti. Shows that Amelia is still eating him alive even while comatose and Liliya’s effect on the Reagents is probably giving him PTSD from the Escape event.
Also love Easterman being flabbergasted at the idea of pulling Liliya from the trials due to her influence when that’s exactly what they did with Amelia.
What I think is interesting is his solution being to create a “system” so that “any Prime asset” can be seen as a god to the reagents. This coupled with all the new prime asset-themed decor and behaviors makes me thing Red Barrels may be implementing a faction system based on the each Prime Asset.
But my FAVORITE new document is the secret one found by collecting and depositing every gem in Incinerate the Relic.
My interpretation of it is Liliya referring to Sinyala as “Babylon” and the reagents as “Levites.” Invasion already has us killing each other and with a new Invasion update coming in Summer, I wonder if the current system is finally gonna come crashing down in some way.
Avellanos already suspects Liliya is “planning something.” And a new document also tells us she allowed herself to be captured by CIA agent George Nichols in exchange for “gifts.”
Seems like something big is definitely on the horizon and Liliya is at the center of it.
