I (28F) need help purchasing a surprise gift for my partner (27M) who is obsessed with his bike!
Hi! I am in need of figuring out what kind of phone mount system/kit is best to purchase for my partner’s birthday. His birthday is June 11th - I am going to be doing gifts up to the day of his birthday starting June 1st. Something he mentions every time we go to a motorcycle shop or Cycle Gear, is wanting a Quad Lock phone mount for his bike.
To give some background: he has a 2026 Honda CBR 650R. When I tell you this thing is his baby, I am NOT playing. He has poured his heart & soul into making this the bike of his dreams. Tail Tidy, tinted (and taller) windscreen, a Kelpi Exhaust System, radiator cover, a cool plate frame, crash bars, expensive helmet, Cardo communications system … he’s tuned it & flashed his ECU, did his first oil change, cleaned his chain, cleans it after every ride, etc. & I’ve helped with every single part.
This gift needs to be special. I checked the website & you can build your own kit basically, but I don’t know what to do? And I don’t want to ask him because he’ll know I’m planning to buy it & insist I don’t (he’s a gift giver more than a gift receiver).
Can anyone help me figure out what kind of kit to build? I’m including a picture of his current phone mount in case people wonder or need to know what the handlebar situation is. As I’m sure you can guess, there isn’t much room. lol
And if you have any other ideas for fun, small gifts to give each day leading up to his birthday, I’d appreciate those!
