Advancing REZANOVA CAS CALCULATOR to much more frontiers

Hello again Rezanovas,

it is a quite huge time I didnt announce anything because I was doing massive changes to architecture and capabilities that I forgot to announce more.

here are the biggest changes:

integration:

- indefinite

risch Norman, transcendental, and algebraic (up to genus 1 only

- definite

Not yet but will be massively added and upgraded with double and triple integrals in one to two days

equation:

- symbolic capabilities are strong along full support of FERRARI/CARDANO

- Numeric: ultimate support with Newton Raphson, ITP, newton secant, and many powerful algorithms for both real and complex cases

Limits:

- real and powerful with many algorithms and it now support lite version of gruntz but soonly full gruntz

And the biggest update of all are the TABS:

just like how you use tabs in browsers, the same for Rezanova calculator which gives ysers more control on their workspaces

and there are many more features I will announce later but now I am doing heavy benchmark testing with Thomas, Stewart, Paul notes, openstax, and many more sources to check current capabilities honesty and limits

I forgot to mention now that the current repo supercarrier architecture is fully build and functional like I promised and remaining is surface protocol for embedibility and integration

there are many more things to be added but I am running out of time and may stop soonly. Hope someone makes use of my app and extend it after me because I will pause at 20 July. I am very sorry not to achieve all of the designated goals like graphing, and profiling system but hope to continue next year summer vacation.

Linux desktop app architecture question: would you prioritize fault-containment architecture or feature expansion?

I’m building a Linux-first open-source symbolic calculator/workbench (currently pre-alpha) and I’m at a crossroads regarding what to prioritize next. It is, REZANOVA CAS CLASSWIZ

One option is what I’ve been calling a “supercarrier” architecture: introducing stronger compartment/fault-containment boundaries so that if one subsystem fails (Equation workspace, Statistics, Geometry, future plugins, etc.), it doesn’t affect the rest of the application. The goal is better long-term maintainability, contributor safety, debugging, and future extensibility.

The other option is continuing to push mathematical capabilities and consistency first. Over the last few days I’ve been expanding complex-number support, inequality solving, readback stability, and domain handling, and there is still a lot of value in improving multivariable workflows and making behavior more consistent across all workspaces before investing further in infrastructure.

If you were evaluating a Linux desktop application at this stage, which would you prioritize:

  1. Stronger architecture/fault-containment foundations now.
  2. More mathematical capability and app-wide consistency first.
  3. Some balanced middle ground.

I’m particularly interested in opinions from people who have maintained medium-to-large desktop applications over multiple years. Looking back, what did you wish you had done earlier?

Adding inequalities and complex numbers support to Rezanova CAS!

hi everyone, the last two days I finally added inequalitities and complex for equation mode only with single variable solving x for now.

once I finalize massive architecture changes this coming week I will start pushing multivariable on those two and widen the scope to all curren workspaces. moreover, I will delete the advanced calculus workspace as it seems redundant and merge what it has into calculus workspace.

Lastly, this calculator will support 2d/3d viewports similar to those in unity and unreal engines scenes so we don’t have our graphing engine looking like those plain graphing calculators, powered by wgpu for multiple gpus support!

i just took a breakfor two days this week after my initial pre alpha announcement because it is very tiresome to work 5-7 hours with the ai on this Calculator, though I believe it would be a serious, local first, sovereign, math platform for anyone needing full control on the app in the near future

I’m building a free/open-source, LINUX-FIRST, symbolic calculator for desktop — looking for calculator-user feedback

Hi everyone — I’m the developer of REZANOVA Calcwiz CAS, a free/open-source desktop symbolic calculator/workbench.

It is currently pre-alpha and Linux-first. I’m not presenting it as production-ready, exam-approved, or full CAS parity. I’m posting because I’d really value feedback from calculator users before it grows too far in the wrong direction.

The goal is to build a PC-first calculator/workbench with:

- textbook-style math input

- exact-first symbolic results where supported

- equation solving and calculus tools

- clear limitations/stop reasons when something is outside the supported surface

- a long-term modular/open-source direction

I’m especially interested in feedback on:

- what you expect from a desktop calculator compared with handheld calculators

- what CAS/symbolic features matter most to calculator users

- what would make a pre-alpha worth testing

- what UI/workflow mistakes I should avoid

GitHub/release link: https://github.com/AhmedAlnasser2000/REZANOVA-CAS-CALCULATOR.git

I’m not asking for donations or promotion — just feedback, criticism, and advice from people who care about calculators.

A few clarifications:

- This is pre-alpha, so bugs and missing features are expected.

- It is not intended as an exam calculator.

- It is Linux-first for now.

- It is not claiming to replace mature CAS tools.

- I’m mainly looking for workflow/math-feature feedback from calculator users.
