Steam Recording only works sometimes
Hello all,
I've been having an issue where steam recording only works every couple of game launchers. It just says "No game recording available" when I check the overlay, and the recording doesn't show anywhere in the main Steam app. Every 3rd or 4th launch recording finally works, and stays until I restart the game again. I am not using the USE_WAYLAND flag in Proton, and I have also tried multiple Proton versions (9, 10, GE/CachyOS/regular). I have only tested this with Dead By Daylight. I am also using ReShade if that matters.
Has anyone else experienced this or know what causes it/what solution?
Is there a way to see logs for the Steam Overlay or Steam Recording?
