Holy foreshadowing. The way Joe and Mitsuki both struggle to communicate ☹️

Note: Joe broke up with Kanna because his priority was Mitsuki and they didn’t communicate it out and Joe was the one who failed to communicate properly. We are seeing signs of Joe in Mitsuki as we speak what are the chances are the same fate of another priority which is possibly music being and failure of communication yet again being the cause of mitsuaya to break up?

Mitsuki has become so attached and connected to Aya that in situations that are stressful or she fears may lead to her loosing her love or hurting her she chooses physical intimacy as a way to avoid the situation and or force de-escalation by changing the subject and doing a whole switch on the situation. It’s also clear when she’s at a low mental point she uses physical intimacy and contact to cope. She has brought up she just wants comfort from the one she loves and it’s clear with what we’ve up till now physical intimacy is her way of going. Just wanting to be held and loved by someone you hold so deeply to your heart really is painful. The fear of loosing them or hurting them she ends up choosing to try to avoid the context overall. While it makes things worse and it may seem selfish it’s clear she really does love and is attached to Aya. The way Sumiko has showcased Mitsuki and her struggles and coping is phenomenal.

My heart is aching so much 😭😭 I personally struggle with communication so l understand how Mitsuki feels. It can be hard to open up but what matters is she actually does. It's clear Aya does but struggle too. Right now Mitsuki is hurting and because of that Aya is too and Aya is trying to help herbut literally cannot reach her..so she herself as always chooses to be self sacrificial and protect Mitsuki even if it means avoiding music or lying around her. Mitsuki clearly is deeply attached to her lover and seeks comfort through intimacy physically and doesn’t want to loose Aya but she won’t open up. Aya is out here trying to get her lover to open up but was left with utter silence. It’s infuriating and frustrating but BOTH SIDES MATTER it’s clear both want to communicate but struggle too. We have reached a point where miscommunication has touched confrontation and it didn't end well. It's painful on both sides. I hope both open up and resolve the problem and talk through everything eventually~

Note I made to clear things up about this chapter:

This chapter wasn’t about a crush but how admiration and aversion are overcome to realize human connection. Rinko felt admiration and idolized Mitsuki while Shu felt aversion and misinterpreted Aya. It’s about overcoming that perception to realize human connection is possible or was something you actually seeked. While feelings are present the main message was seeing the truth about someone you felt a way about. Implied feelings are there 100% but that was not the point. It wasn’t about any relationship becoming doomed but it was about Shu and Rinkos own feelings reaching a realization and overcoming what they thought was true and seeing the truth as it is. They seeked connection and denied or rejected the possibility of it but realized it was possible and was something they needed or wanted. They both know Aya and Mitsuki are taken so I don’t think we’d get any push towards a break up. the ending showed them in the same train perhaps whose to say this wasn’t a round about conclusion for there need to be connected to someone and finding a possible connection with one another in the future who they can actually be with? Rinko and Shu endgame trust.

Not anytime soon but it's clear what Sumiko possibly has laid out. So yeah they will break up I fear likely as a plot device and who knows blue yuri sketches are already implied to be canon since the other timeskip became canon and joekanna had a happy ending so I'd invest in a happy one for mitsuaya.

Also to note things I couldn’t fit in the text shared above:

1. To get this out of the way blue yuri are these angsty sketches that take place with a timeskip+8 years and another pair of a sketches drawn later taking place +2 years that became canon in the manga so these are technically possibly a future canon spoiler for the future

2. Aya and Kanna are the self sacrificial support who puts their partner above them and wishes to be apart and fulfill their dreams and wishes but wont ever be put first without realization

3. Joe and Mitsuki are the center or the support who is deeply tied to music and puts their music and or love at the center of-their lives to the point it affects them drastically

As much as I love any cosplay it gets tiring of seeing the same old minor highschool mitsuaya cosplays over and over again. Can we please spice it up and get adult mitsuaya or even blue yuri 🤧??
