Is the klx300 too much for a beginner?
I just got my dream property with several acres of woods, and I have always wanted something like this. Mainly would be used for funa and quick transport around the property, but i wouldn't mind being able to occasionally do my 20ish mile commute to and from work when the weather is nice.
I'm 5'8 around 200 pounds and have zero experience and plan to get it shipped to my house to learn how to ride it properly before I get a license to take it on the road. Would one of the 230's be better for my experience level. I'm 34 this month, I am a former mma fighter and I work in a factory on my feet all day. I am very active so I expect zero physical issues aside from lesrning how to operate it, which i have a friend who intends to help if i have issues.
