Help I'm trying to raise money to save my fluffy child sapphire
Hi my name is Lauren Elzey-Kensington. Recently my fluffy child Sapphire who is only 4 years old has suddenly become very sick with serious liver and gallbladder complications. Over the last few weeks, I have been doing everything I can to help her get better — multiple vet visits, medications, bloodwork, emergency care, and now hospitalization and an partial ultrasound to figure out what is wrong.
So far, I have already spent close to $1,500 trying to save her. The next fully looked at ultrasound alone is expected to cost around $1,000, and if she needs surgery, I was told it could be close to $5,000. I am currently trying to find a job, and these costs are becoming more than I can manage on my own.
Sapphire is not just a dog to me. She is my baby girl, my comfort, and my family. She still has so much life left to live, and I am not ready to give up on her. The specialists at K-State told me we are moving in the right direction, and I am holding onto hope that with continued treatment she can recover.
Anyone who knows Sapphire knows how goofy and loving she is. One of her favorite things to do is steal butter wrappers off the counter or sneak cream cheese off a bagel bag when nobody is looking. Those little moments mean everything to me, and I just want the chance to keep making more memories with her.
If you are able to donate, share, or even just keep Sapphire in your thoughts, it would mean more than I can express. Thank you for helping me fight for my sweet girl. Help sapphire get life-saving medicine
