FPIES to sweet potato

Maybe a silly question but if your baby had FPIES reaction to sweet potato is it 100% surety they will be allergic to regular potatoes also. Only once her dietitionist suggest to try white potato but I am scared. As I feel her dietitionsit is just reading the high and low FPIES list from internet.

Gagging in FPIES

My 1 year old FPIES baby keeps gaging with new food and that gagging continue for good 1,2 minutes and it makes me so concerned. Her gystro already refer us to swallow evaluation which is not until December. I am extremely scared to trying anything new. As she is either not trying anything new or spit out or gag when I force feed her very tiny piece. Any recommendation would be extremely helpful.

Gagging

My 10 month old is FPIES positive since she was 5 months old and she have severe acid reflux also which caused her vomit +blood. Which makes us more scared than usual. Her food exposure is so so slow and today we tried peach which was 1/4 teasp I crushed the peach and feed her and she was gagging a lot at that time but no throw up. Is it normal for babies who have slow food exposure. We are so scared since that time. It’s been 2 hours and she is fine so far. Any recommendation to try new food and her not to gag that much ?
