[HIRING] Looking for a manga artist for long-term project: Fault Lines
Hi! I'm looking for a manga artist that can bring my sci-fi story, Fault Lines, to life.

The job:
- Freelance long-term project (years). This should feel more like a collaboration than a "hiring", I will value your input in all areas though I will make the final decisions.
- Initial budget of 100€/month.
- Weekly or monthly page/design deliverables. You will be provided with page + panel scripts and/or detailed explanations.
- End goal: This is a passion project, so the first goal is to finish the manga. After that, it's possible we could sell it, but it's not the main goal.
- Commercial rights needed. You will be credited as the artist of every volume/book.
- Payment: bizum/bank transfer, I can adapt as long as it's secure. For the first deliverable I will pay 50% before project and the other 50% after delivery to build trust. After that, payments will be made only after delivery.

The manga:
- Fault Lines is a sci-fi political thriller with romance, drama and magical abilities sprinkled in.
- Audience: Young Adult / Adult
- The worldbuilding, plot and characters are all done.
- Three interconnected story arcs have been plotted out: The Healer, The Seer and The Hypnotist.
- Art style: studio ghibli style with semi-detailed eyes, not too "serious" but not childish, although chibi can be used sometimes for humor. Sci-fi and magical world-building is important, so drawing those aspects accurately is important too.

Your role:
- Understand the world, the plot and the characters deeply.
- Draw manga panels and pages according to the script.
- Draw the story in an emotionally nuanced and visually cinematic way, translating the emotional and plot beats effectively onto the page.
- Adapt the worldbuilding and character descriptions to the page, ensuring visual consistency with the canon.
- Provide sketches/drafts for revisions before final deliveries.
- Occasionally design canon characters / world / tech (references and detailed descriptions are provided, but you may have creative freedom in some cases)
- Occasionally draw volume covers or other colored illustrations.

Who you are (must-haves):
- Availability to commit to a years-long project. Please abstain from applying if you're not sure.
- Proven ability to draw in desired art style (shown in portfolio): studio ghibli style with semi-detailed eyes, not too "serious" but not childish, although chibi can be used sometimes for humor. Cinematic shots. Sci-fi and magical world-building is important, so drawing those aspects accurately is important too.
- Proven ability to draw more realistic full-color illustrations (shown in portfolio).
- A love for sci-fi, romance, fantasy, drama and political thriller.
- Ability to stick to deadlines.
- Attention to detail, creative and cinematic.
