How hard is it to get an apprenticeship after graduation? Currently an Automotive Tech - TONS of Jobs for us with a caveat: pay, quality of life, and health

How would you call a local repair shop and ask if they could take you on over the summer school break?

Would you go straight to asking them the question? Or would you pitch you skills and then ask?

Do they exist? I been looking for 1+ year and they few opportunities that show up are flooded with applicants
