Headshot / Rupture improvised craft for future consideration
I understand that IFAK/AFAK/SOS kits are meant to be the primary fixes here but these feel a bit... over-the-top? Your only option requires an item that also heals you which forces it to be scarcer for obvious reasons, it heals it (almost) all.
In an absolute emergency you'd look to pack the wound and prevent blood loss, so things like Sterile packing gauze, and emergency pressure bandages are the core to what could be the basis of an improvised IFAK that does no healing, and has a timer of about say.... 5 minutes to 10 minutes so you know you have a ticking clock and get to a safe area.
This could be the Impetus to go to school day two, to start getting these items from Doctor to put a crafting element into the process.
So theoretically: Improvised IFAK - 1x Sterile Gauze(new) + Bandage(existing) + BleedStop powder(new) for a craft to take away the healing aspect of Bandage, but give an early (day 2+) option of headshot temporary mitigation.
Ruptures can have something similar where you use: Improvised Trauma Kit - 1x Tourniquet + Bandage + Duct Tape with the same 5 min - 10min option.
There's even the possibility where you can even have a Debt mechanic where you can do a favor for the Doctor in exchange for proper healing of (specifically critical wound-based health problems) in exchange for a timed quest of a few days of randomized supplies, with a negative tax increase of 25% for failed exchanges when bartering.
I think there's only one mod that i've seen that deals with this at it's core level and that mod changes it to be more player-optional.
I'm sure there's something that I may have missed or some issues regarding this implementation, but I feel like this keeps in line with the Psuedo hardcore/realistic vision of the game.
