Hi everyone,

I need some advice from people who may have faced something similar before.

Recently, I got offer letter for TCS Digital with a package of 7.39 LPA. At the same time, I had already joined IBM CIC (Consulting division) around 20 days ago with a 4.25 LPA CTC. (I joined IBM after my TCS Interview)

Right now at IBM, I have been allocated to the SAP domain in more of a functional/operational role, not much development work. But for TCS, I was interviewed for Java, and I am personally much more interested in Java + Spring Boot and development roles in general.

Now I’m confused about what I should do.

• Is it okay to leave an organization this early, especially within the first month?
• Will it create any negative impact in the future?
• Will leaving IBM, can create some trouble while onboarding in TCS, I have mentioned me as fresher along with my internship experience.
• Should I resign immediately considering IBM has a 90-day notice period (though I’m still in training, so maybe it can be negotiated)?
• Or should I wait until I receive the official joining letter/date from TCS before resigning? ( I am from 2025 batch, heard that 2025 batches getting JL almost within 1-2 months)

Would really appreciate advice from people who switched early in their career or handled a similar situation.
